  • Patent number: 4880172
Abstract: The invention relates to a roller mill with two rollers driven in opposite directions, in which the two gear driven cases are connected directly to one another by a torque support containing a flexible member.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 12, 1988
Date of Patent: November 14, 1989
    Assignee: Krupp Polysius AG
Inventors: Otto Heinemann, Heinz-Dieter Baldus, Norbert Schroder
  • Patent number: 4597867
Abstract: The invention relates to an air-controlled settling apparatus having an air vessel within which is a wall that divides the vessel into air supply and air exhaust ducts. Inlet and outlet valves are mounted within the air supply duct and establishes communication between the settling chambers and the air supply and exhaust ducts. The apparatus construction is distinguished by simple construction and low noise in operation.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 25, 1985
Date of Patent: July 1, 1986
    Assignee: Krupp Polysius AG
Inventors: Otto Heinemann, Heinz-Dieter Baldus, Armin Supp, Hans Nanz, Helmut Thieme, Heinz Rasch
  • Patent number: 4563271
Abstract: The invention relates to a percussion jig in which the carrier for material to be separated is freely suspended in the region of its centroidal axis on the piston rod of a hydraulic drive cylinder. This results in a particularly simple construction subject to little wear.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 31, 1984
Date of Patent: January 7, 1986
    Assignee: Krupp Polysius AG
Inventors: Norbert Schroder, Gunter Milewski, Manfred Neusser, Hermann Dorr, Armin Supp, Heinz Rasch, Otto Heinemann, Heinz-Dieter Baldus, Harald Manthey
  • Patent number: 4464112
Abstract: The invention relates to apparatus for introducing fine material into a combustion zone by means of an air duct which has a constriction in the region of its junction with the material duct in such a way that the rate of flow is considerably increased at the point where the material is introduced and this favors the loosening of the material stream and the delivery of the material to the combustion zone.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 30, 1982
Date of Patent: August 7, 1984
    Assignee: Krupp Polysius AG
Inventors: Otto Heinemann, Heinz-Dieter Baldus, Heinz-Herbert Schmits
  • Patent number: 4133488
Abstract: A roller mill assembly includes a separator disposed above a roller mill housing, and an exhaust air duct above the separator. The sieve is movable horizontally from between the mill housing and the exhaust air duct on a crane track.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 29, 1977
Date of Patent: January 9, 1979
    Assignee: Polysius AG
Inventors: Otto Heinemann, Heinz-Herbert Schmits, Heinz-Dieter Baldus
  • Patent number: 4004740
Abstract: A roller crushing mill has a housing within which is a plurality of angularly spaced crushing rollers that bear on a grinding plate rotatable about a vertical axis. Above each roller is a sifter for the reception of crushed material. Nozzles positioned in the vicinity of the rollers establish upwardly directed airstreams at the periphery of the grinding plate to entrain crushed material thrown off the grinding plate and deliver such crushed material to the sifters. Other nozzles positioned between adjacent ones of the rollers at the periphery of the grinding plate direct airstreams inwardly of the plate toward the crushing track to feed material to the crushing track.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 31, 1975
Date of Patent: January 25, 1977
    Assignee: Polysius AG
Inventors: Otto Heinemann, Heinz-Herbert Schmits, Heinz Dieter Baldus
