  • Patent number: 11981793
Abstract: An ultraviolet radiation absorbing composition can be used as a light stabilizer for a shaped artificial polymer article, wherein the polymer is a synthetic polymer and/or a natural elastomer and wherein the ultraviolet radiation absorbing composition includes the compound of formula (I) wherein n and m are independently 0 to 20, and at least one of m and n being ?1; and X1, X2, X3, X4 and X5 are the same or different and are independently selected from H, C(O)R1 with R1 being C8-C24-alkyl, or a group of the general formula (II) wherein R2 is H or halogen.

  • Publication number: 20240084104
Abstract: The presently claimed invention relates to additive mixture comprising a compound of formula (1) and a compound of formula (2). The presently claimed invention further relates to a composition comprising an organic material which is susceptible to oxidative, thermal or light-induced degradation and the additive mixtures. The presently claimed invention also relates to a method for stabilization of organic materials by incorporating therein or applying thereto the additive mixtures. Further, the presently claimed invention relates to the use of the additive mixtures as light stabilizer for organic materials.

  • Patent number: 6261432
Abstract: A water soluble core of an aluminum or magnesium alloy is used for the production of an object with a hollow space. The aluminum or magnesium alloy is rendered water-soluble by flame spraying or by sintering to produce a high oxide content.

  • Patent number: 5698337
Abstract: A manufacturing method for a separator plate for a molten carbonate fuel cell and separator plate made by the method. The separator plate comprises Ni-clad stainless steel. Aluminum is brought onto the wet seal area of the separator plate by high-velocity oxygen flame spraying. In addition, an intermetallic phase of the aluminum and the base metal is produced. The base metal can be both stainless steel or nickel.

  • Patent number: 4535456
Abstract: To permit, by a program, supervision of a programmable controller, which controls, for example, operation of a machine tool, or other device in which sequential events occur, a computer controlled diagnostic unit (2) is connected to the programmable controller (1). The stepping or sequencing structure of the program in the programmable controller (1) is stored in the diagnostic unit (2), for example in a fixed memory (ROM 4). Supervision of the control of the machine tool, engine, or other operating unit, for example due to malfunction of transducers, connecting lines, and the like, is supervised by testing if the conditions for going from one step in a program to the next step are always satisfied; if an error is recognized, the respective steps of the control program are interrogated, and the conditions for stepping from one step to the next are tested.
