  • Patent number: 6701626
Abstract: A hand tool has an elongated blade having a longitudinally inwardly projecting tang having a longitudinal back edge formed with a plurality of transversely directed teeth, a longitudinal front edge, and an elastically transversely deflectable retaining formation. A handle forms a longitudinally open seat having one longitudinally extending side wall. A retaining lever has an edge formed with teeth and an elastically transversely deflectable retaining formation. The lever is displaceable between a closed holding position with the lever teeth meshing with the blade teeth and pressing the blade against the seat wall and the formation transversely engaging and bearing elastically against the blade retaining formation, and an open freeing position with the lever teeth out of mesh with the blade teeth and the formation out of engagement with the blade retaining formation.

  • Patent number: 6249977
Abstract: Disclosed is a pair of scissors, more particularly a barber scissors, comprising two scissor halves (3 and 4) that are joined at an axis of rotation (2). Each half has a cutting blade (5 and 6) and a shank (7 and 8) with a grip. The grip of one of the scissor halves (3) has a T-shaped grip (9) with a web (13) that draws away from the shank (7), more or less perpendicularly, on the plane of the scissors and two opposite limbs (14 and 15) extending more or less in the longitudinal direction of the shank (7) on the end of the web (13) opposite to the shank (7). The T-shaped grip (9) can be dismounted (7) and can be displaced and fixed in the longitudinal direction of the shank of the first half (3). The grip of the other half (4) is fixed in the longitudinal direction of the shank (8).

  • Patent number: 5461759
Abstract: An information carrier for clamping onto rods (S), particularly clothes rods or the like, having a holding clamp which, by its two first arms of a resilient material, forms a substantially C-shaped clamping jaw to receive the rod (S), having at least one second arm which extends into the clamping jaw and which, together with a partial region of its side surface, forms a holding region for resilient action on the rod (S). In order to achieve a greater field of use, the second arm (3) be formed resilient on the free end (2') of the first arm (2).

  • Patent number: 4835865
Abstract: A knife comprises a substantially hollow handle, a short knife blade guided longitudinally movable in a knife blade guide track and at least one guided slider member coupled indirectly with the handle side of the longitudinally movable knife blade. The slider member is provided or associated with a longitudinal slot, in some cases penetrating the handle to reach the exterior, and an operating piece. An especially simple replacement of the knife blade is possible since the knife blade is insertable at least indirectly in the knife blade guide track through the longitudinal slot which is designed to meet its spatial requirements. There the knife blade is form-locked and releasably lockable on the slider member which is at least partially removable from the handle.

  • Patent number: 4805304
Abstract: The knife comprises a substantially hollow handle, a knife blade guided longitudinally movable in a knife blade guide track and at least one guided slider member coupled indirectly with the handle end of the longitudinally movable knife blade. A slider longitudinal slot which receives the slider member extends across the entire thickness of the handle. The slider member has an operating piece on each handle broad side. Both operating pieces receive between themselves at least one guide strip extending parallel to the handle longitudinal axis. The knife blade is held between both operating pieces. The knife blade is so structured that an ergonomically beneficial thumb operable slider mechanism operation is provided for a variety of working situations in a simple way.
