  • Patent number: 7648153
Abstract: A control device for an articulated road train provided with a system for detecting pivoting and articulating angles between the central longitudinal axes of the tractor and a semi-trailer coupled thereto by a coupling pin during coupling and parking and/or a control device for an articulated road train provided with a system for detecting pivoting and articulating angles between the central longitudinal axes of a drawbar and a trailer which is coupled by the drawbar during coupling and parking. The system has a plurality of Hall sensors (21) arranged side-by-side on the arc of a circle and a constant magnet (30) interacting therewith in such a way that it acts on the nearest Hall sensor according to the radial position thereof, a required angle (?) being determined on the basis of the excited Hall sensor position.

  • Patent number: 7182368
Abstract: A supporting leg for a vehicle that transports exchangeable containers comprises two telescopic tubes and a pneumatic drive for retracting and extending one of the tubes. Thread-type or annular bearing parts comprising a horizontal bearing surface are configured on the inner extendable tube. An engagement part with horizontal bearing surfaces, which interacts with the bearing parts, is located on the outer tube. The engagement part is pre-stressed in its displacement from the disengaged position to the engaged position in a spring-loaded manner and is fixed to the outer tube with a non-positive fit.

  • Publication number: 20060249927
Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling device for the coupling of a trailer vehicle to a tractor engine, comprising, on the tractor engine, a coupling body (10), with an insertion opening (11) and pneumatically-operated coupling bolt (12) and, on the trailer, a drawbar (20), with a drawbar eye (21), for the passage of the coupling bolt (12). A tubular piece (13) is arranged below the coupling body (10), coaxially rotating about the geometrical axis (Z-axis) of the coupling bolt (12), at the lower end of which a cylindrical shell (15) is embodied at an angle of 90° to the geometrical axis (X1-axis) of the coupling bolt (12). A rotating cylindrical piece (16) is arranged in the shell (15), with a block (17), embodied on the free peripheral section thereof, with pins (18) for electrical connections and at least two hollow guide bolts (19) for pneumatic and mechanical connection with a bush piece (22), projecting from the trailer, arranged on the free front face thereof.

  • Publication number: 20050225066
Abstract: The invention relates to a supporting leg for a vehicle that transports exchangeable containers, said leg allowing the exchangeable container to be deposited on a horizontal base. Said leg comprises two telescopic tubes and a pneumatic drive for retracting and extending one of the tubes. Thread-type or annular bearing parts (520) comprising a horizontal bearing surface are configured on the inner extendable tube (52). An engagement part (60) with horizontal bearing surfaces, which interacts with the bearing parts (520), is located on the outer tube (51). Said engagement part is pre-stressed in its displacement from the disengaged position (FIG. 5) into its engaged position (FIG. 4) in a spring-loaded manner and is fixed to the outer tube (51) with a non-positive fit.

  • Patent number: 6672608
Abstract: The invention relates to a fifth wheel for the coupling of the tractor of an articulated truck with a truck trailer. The inventive fifth wheel comprises a wheel plate, a kingpin (20) with an inner bore and with an outer coupling or engaging surface (30) as well as with connections for linking electric and pneumatic supply lines between the tractor of an articulated truck and the truck trailer. The supply lines of the tractor of an articulated truck lead to a male connector (100) of a supply unit (10) and the supply lines from a female connector (200) in the interior of the kingpin (20) to the designated places on the truck trailer. The parts of the male connector (11-15) and the female connector (21-25) that pertain to the supply lines and that are interlinkable are configured as respective rotation-symmetrical bushes that are fit into each other in pairs. All bushes (11-15, 21-25) are aligned coaxially with respect to one another and with respect to the axis of the kingpin (20).
