Abstract: The invention relates to pentafluorosulfanylphenyl-substituted benzoylguanidines of the formula I: and a process for preparing a compound of the formula I and/or the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.

Abstract: Substituted 1-naphthoylguanidines, process for their preparation, their use as a medicament or diagnostic, and medicament containing them. Substituted 1-naphthoylguanidines of the formula I in which R2 to R8 have the meanings indicated in the claims, are suitable as antiarrhythmic pharmaceuticals having a cardioprotective component for infarct prophylaxis and infarct treatment and for the treatment of angina pectoris. They also preventively inhibit the pathophysiological processes in the formation of ischemically induced damage, in particular in the production of ischemically induced cardiac arrhythmias.

Abstract: The invention relates to compounds of the formula 1 ##STR1## in which A.sup.1 denotes a radical of the formulae ##STR2## A.sup.2 is absent or represents a radical of the formula ##STR3## R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are as defined in the specification, and X and Y, independently of one another, represent --O-- or --NR.sup.13 --, and to the salts thereof. Also described is a process for the preparation of the compounds of the formula 1, corresponding pharmaceutical products, and the use thereof as medicines, and intermediates for the preparation of these compounds.
