  • Patent number: 8497692
Abstract: Systems and methods can be provided for measuring the resistance of high power apparatuses. A device can include a current source connectable to a test object, and the ability for measuring current and/or voltage, wherein the current source is a capacitor. By providing the current source as a capacitor, a light weight device is obtained which can be used essentially continuously without periods of non-use during recharging.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 21, 2009
Date of Patent: July 30, 2013
    Assignee: Megger Sweden AB
Inventors: Zoran Stanisic, Heinz Wernli, Romain Douib, Nils Wäcklen
  • Publication number: 20120223080
Abstract: The invention relates to an elongate packing for the packing of a granular substance, in particular for the packing of a spray powder for the thermal coating of a surface of a workpiece. In accordance with the invention, the elongate packing includes a plurality of individual packing pockets of presettable size, with a meterable quantity of the granular substance being packed closed with respect to an outer environment in the individual packing pocket. The invention further relates to a method for the loading of a treatment apparatus with a granular substance to a treatment apparatus for the use of an elongate packing, to a method for the manufacture of an elongate packing and to a packing apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6963203
Abstract: A method for analyzing an electrical contact pair is provided. At least one of the contacts is coupled to a line-side of the contact pair, and at least one of the contacts is coupled to a load-side of the contact pair. The method includes electrically coupling the load-side contact and the line-side contact to electrical ground, applying a test voltage across the contact pair while the line-side contact and load-side contact remain electrically coupled to electrical ground, triggering a contact pair operation timer at a start of a test, detecting at least one of a first closure of the contact pair and a first opening of the contact pair using the test voltage, and determining the timing of the contact pair based upon the operation of the contact pair operation timer.
