  • Patent number: 10421245
Abstract: In a first aspect the present invention relates to a pellet mill (10) comprising a die (30) having a first surface (34) and a second surface (36), the die further comprising press holes (38) extending from the first surface to the second surface, at least one roller (50) configured to roll over the first surface for forcing a pelletizable material, forming a feed layer (2) on the first surface, through the press holes to the second surface, and a nozzle (82) configured to provide an additive fluid (4) directly into the nip (86) between the at least one roller and the first surface. In a second aspect the present invention relates to a method of producing pellets, and in a third aspect the present invention related to method of retrofitting a pellet mill.

  • Patent number: 7563765
Abstract: The invention relates to histidine-rich glycoprotein (HRGP) polypeptides and the use of these polypeptides. The invention includes methods for the inhibition of angiogenesis by administering an HRGP polypeptide. The invention also includes pharmaceutical compositions and articles of manufacture comprising HRGP polypeptides, antibodies and receptors that bind to an HRGP polypeptide, HRGP-depleted plasma and polynucleotides, vectors and host cells that encode HRGP polypeptides.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 27, 2004
Date of Patent: July 21, 2009
    Assignee: Innoventus Project AB
Inventors: Anna-Karin Olsson, Helena Larsson, Lena Claesson-Welsh
  • Publication number: 20090039060
Abstract: The embodiments described relate to a laser cutting method suitable for cutting multilayered or painted materials such as for example car bodies. The method involves the step of scanning a low laser beam a plurality of turns along an intended cut edge. Utilizing the described cutting method, the paint located in the vicinity of the cut edge is only slightly affected by the heat generated by the laser beam.
