Aspects of the invention relate to a method of treating such disorders comprising administering one or more B vitamins e.g. folic acid, Vitamin B6 and/or Vitamin B12 or derivatives thereof.

Disclosed herein are methods of reducing body fat mass e.g. reducing obesity or preventing weight gain and agents used in such methods whereby the agents inhibit a sulphur containing amino acid. Also included in the present disclosure include, without being limited to, methods for determining regimes for the treatment of obesity as well as other subject matter.
