    Abstract: A method and a device for producing simpler operability of a plurality of devices. Using operating symbols is proposed, which are known to practically everybody, for operating the most important functions of a device. Thus, certain operating symbols are used, which are well known for a predetermined type of device and are dedicated to certain original functions of this type of device, and also for operating synonymous functions in devices of completely different types. This brings along the advantage that technically basically different devices can be uniformly operated in practice, without having to learn a new set of symbols.
