  • Publication number: 20080271559
Abstract: A turn-actuator possesses a rotatably placed driven element, which turns about an axis of rotation and has at least a first and a second tensile element of a shape memory alloy. The first and second tensile elements are affixed to the driven element, whereby the directions of rotation from torques generated by the contractions of the first and the second tensile elements act upon the driven element in opposite directions.

  • Patent number: 6729311
Abstract: An aeration and deaeration device for the fuel tank (1) of an internal combustion engine (6) in which the aeration and deaeration are performed through an adsorption filter, the adsorption filter can be regenerated by backwashing with atmospheric air, the backwashing air is sent to the air intake area of the internal combustion engine, the composition of the backwashing air is determined and taken into account in control of the combustion process taking place inside the engine, should permit backwashing of the adsorption filter which has an influence on the composition of the engine exhaust gas.

  • Patent number: 6289947
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for filling a fuel tank (2) with a filling conduit (4). The fuel flow entering the tank is directed by a through flow sensor (53) in order to control and monitor the filling process. A particularly suitable tank system (1) for implementation of said method comprises a fuel tank (2), a filling tube (3) surrounding a filling conduit (4) and discharging into said fuel tank, an adsorption filler (6) connected to the gas area (8) of the tank (2) and a through-flow sensor (53) which detects the flow of fuel in the filling tube (2).
