  • Patent number: 6254684
Abstract: A powder-spraying appliance for electrostatic powder coating of work pieces. In order to achieve particularly good charging of powder particles, the powder-spraying appliance contains a chamber, into which a powder/air mixture is introduced transversely to a spraying direction via a supply conduit. An earth electrode and a plurality of high-voltage electrodes are disposed in the chamber. All of the electrodes are flushed with cleaning air in order to avoid powder deposits on the electrodes.

  • Patent number: 5969291
Abstract: An overhead-line mast includes a bar-shaped and insulated mast head, current-carrying conductors fastened to insulators of the insulated mast head and a ground conductor disposed on a mast tip of the insulated mast head. The ground conductor is connected electrically to a neutral point on a mast base by a ground conductor connection extending in the interior of the overhead-line mast. The ground conductor connection is sheathed by an insulating layer. The insulating layer is covered in each case by an insulating cone at the level of the current-carrying conductors. An annular electrode extends in or on each insulating cone. An insulating filler is inserted between the insulating layer and the insulating cones on one hand and the insulators of the insulated mast head on the other hand.

  • Patent number: 5839669
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for powder spraying can be used, for example, for electrostatic enameling. In order to achieve an easily regulatable high powder output rate, it is proposed to fluidize powder in a closed container, extract it in the region of the fluid bed and cause it to emerge through a nozzle on the container. The container is subdivided by a frit into a first chamber to which air is fed and a second chamber which contains the powder and out of which air is discharged through a valve. A powder output rate can be regulated by the regulation of air pressures.

  • Patent number: 4696531
Abstract: A plug-in type contact arrangement for high power electrical apparatus such as switch gear, wherein a fixed contact member carries a plurality of contact fingers having roller contacts mounted at one end thereof for reliably contacting a movable contact member when such movable contact member is forced into a contacting relationship with the fixed contact member and entering the cage-like receptacle formed by the circularly arranged contact fingers, and wherein the contact fingers are crimped at a predetermined point forming a first longitudinal portion and a second longitudinal portion arranged in different axial planes and connected by the crimping region, thereby transforming the contact pressure formed between the movable contact member and the roller contacts into a torsional load exerted on the contact fingers.

  • Patent number: 4166401
Abstract: This invention is in concern of a gear means for control of planet projectors in planetaria which does without a continuous year's axis shaft. The orbit speeds for the respective projectors are derived from the preceding one in such a manner that, by use of planetary gears and by definite transmission ratios of the toothed components, the speed is transmitted from the faster rotating projectors to the slower rotating projectors. The projectors are mounted on discs which are driven at the correct speed. The toothed components of the planetary gears are also seated on said discs. The toothed components mesh with gear wheels which are mounted on a tubular shaft which holds the entire gear arrangement, thus effecting the speed transformation. The inventional gear arrangement is used to simulate planet movements in planetaria.

  • Patent number: 4078861
Abstract: An aperture control mechanism particularly for use in planetarium projectors, including a weight lever for controlling the horizontal position of the edge of an aperture, said weight lever is seated for rotation on a plate, the rotations being limited to two stops mounted on said plate, at which stops a projection of the weight lever is arrested.
