  • Patent number: 6478501
Abstract: A coupling member, for coupling profile bars having longitudinal grooves covered by profile walls so that a first profile bar is butt-jointed to a side wall of a second profile bar. The coupling member is inserted into the grooves aligned in one plane. The coupling includes an elongated counter holder insertable into the longitudinal groove of the first profile bar, and a tension tie incorporating a shaped head that is insertable into the longitudinal groove of the second profile bar and engages the profile walls from behind, and a shaft connected to the counter holder. The counter holder is rotatable on the tension tie by a pivot that engages the profile walls and is provided on one side with a tooth system that penetrates the groove bottom when the coupling member is tightened by rotating the counter holder.

  • Patent number: 6461046
Abstract: A system for adjusting the play in a linear guide, the linear guide incorporating a slide provided with running surfaces and guided between guide surfaces of a guide element. The linear guide also includes bearing members that are disposed between running surfaces and guide surfaces, with at least one running surface held on the slide elastically displaceable in the cross-direction and adjustable by a spreader element against a guide surface assigned to the running surface. This renders the play between the slide and the guide element adjustable. • Patent number: 6420649
Abstract: A process is disclosed for screening a part of an electrical or electronic circuit, which part is surrounded by an electrically-conductive frame, from absorbing and/or emitting electromagnetic interference fields. The process comprises taking an electrically-conductive screening cap, with an open side bordered by a rim that contains a seating surface, and forming an elastic and electrically-conductive screening seal by directly applying the sealing compound to the seating surface in such a way that the screening seal projects beyond the seating surface. The screening cap is then placed with the screening seal on the electrically-conductive frame to fix the screening cap on the electrically-conductive frame.

  • Patent number: 6096158
Abstract: This invention concerns a process for producing an electromagnetically screening seal (15) which consists of a substrate (10) to which a sealant strand (14) out of an elastic and electrically conducting sealant material is firmly affixed. In this process a curable elastic and electrically conducting sealant material in paste form is applied to adhere in a pre-set geometrical pattern to the substrate (10) and subsequently is cured. The flexibility in the application is increased in that the sealant is applied to the substrate (10) through a nozzle (13) in the form of a sealant strand (14) by means of an application device (12) which moves relative to the substrate (10). The sealant strand (14) then is cured.
