  • Patent number: 6315561
Abstract: An implant has a base body (9) with a fiber-threaded outer surface (2) for promoting in-growth in a jaw bone. The fibers (5) extracted from the base body (9) have a rugged structure to facilitate the settlement of human tissue cells on the base body (9).

  • Patent number: 5596805
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a functional part of synthetic resin material in a bearing plate so as to have good bearing properties. The functional part is formed at a bearing plate by a synthetic-resin injection-molding technique (outsert molding technique) with a bridge portion extending through a hole having hole walls of the bearing plate and with integral retaining portions disposed at both plate surfaces laterally of the hole. The functional part consisting of the bridge portion and the retaining pieces is then changed by a deformation process following the injection-molding operation so that it forms a rotation or slide bearing together with the bearing plate. In the deformation process, the synthetic resin material is pressed away by a mandrel acting on an internal wall of a bore in the bridge portion to cause the synthetic material to flow towards the hole wall of the bearing plate and longitudinally towards the plate surfaces.

  • Patent number: 5445048
Abstract: In order to impart an adequate functional stiffness to a steering wheel comprising an injection-molded skeleton made of partly crystalline thermoplastic plastic, the skeleton of the steering wheel has a press-stretched structure.

  • Patent number: 5373956
Abstract: The invention relates to a case, in particular a cable branching case for receiving and distributing cables, in particular light waveguides, for the telecommunication and for the low-voltage distribution. It is the object of the invention to provide a case of the type referred to hereinbefore, which has a modular design and is sufficiently sealed against the environment, by means of which an uncomplicated and service-friendly operation is guaranteed. For the solution of this object, the invention provides that the side walls of the case are formed of at least two box-type, opposed, L-shaped segments with a groove formed at the one longitudinal edge and a tongue formed at the other longitudinal edge, that the cover and the bottom element contain a groove and a tongue section for connection with the L-shaped segments, and that the L-shaped segments can be connected with the cover and bottom elements such that a movable door side and a fixed rear wall side are formed.
