  • Patent number: 5209269
Abstract: A positive eccentric dobby having a rigidly mounted roller lever shaft with minimal clearance, on which pivoted roller levers are disposed, which transmit the movement to the heald frames via coupled connecting rods, reversing levers and rods. A camshaft with eccentrically disposed cam discs is rigidly mounted on a displaceable carriage. In the state where there is a clearance between the rollers and the cam discs, one or more stops swivel the roller levers so that the heald shafts can be coordinated in several preset positions. When there is no clearance between rollers and cam discs, a jamming block having a motorized driving device fixes the position of the carriage with a stop.

  • Patent number: 5094274
Abstract: The heddle frame carrier has a horizontal beam interconnecting two vertical arms each of which has a reduced zone operative as a pivot joint. For heddle frame changing, the arms can be hinged apart from one another with the locking members at the upper ends pulled away outwardly from the top beam of the heddle frame. Shaft retaining elements are therefore provided which provide secure and reliable retention of the heddle frame without clamping forces being exerted thereon and which enable heddle frame changing to be carried out very rapidly without the use of any tool.

  • Patent number: 5002096
Abstract: A heddle frame actuator device is provided for a negative or positive heddle frame drive. The actuator device employs at least one flexure spring for imposing a spring force vertically on and in the plane of the heddle frame. In some embodiments, a pair of flexure springs, for example of U-shape, Y-shape and endless loop shape may be used. The ends of the springs connected to the loom frame may also be adjusted so that the prestressing of the springs can be varied.

  • Patent number: 4378819
Abstract: A detachable connection arrangement is disclosed which comprises a lifter element of a harness lever arrangement wherein at the free end of the lifter element a quadratic or square connection block is rotatable upon a pin or journal and is detachably inserted into a substantially C-shaped claw member at the loom harness. Pin members which are resiliently supported in the claw member engage into recesses at counter surfaces of the connection block and thus form a snap closure. These measures provide a connection arrangement which satisfies all of the requirements placed thereon, especially as concerns simple fabrication thereof, easy connection or release and complete force transmission practically free of wear.
