  • Patent number: 11918109
Abstract: A crossmember is disclosed that includes an elongate rod portion and two latching claws. The rod portion has a central longitudinal axis, a first longitudinal end and a second longitudinal end substantially opposite the first longitudinal end. The first latching claw is arranged at the first longitudinal end of the rod portion and the second latching claw is arranged at the second longitudinal end of the rod portion. The first latching claw and the second latching claw each include a gripping portion shaped to correspond to a rod-shaped element and are designed to be mounted on the rod-shaped element without tools. The gripping portion of the first latching claw is offset from the gripping portion of the second latching claw with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the rod portion.

  • Publication number: 20230389698
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cross-brace (4) having an elongate rod portion (41) and two claws (42), in the case of which a second grip-around portion (423) of the claws (42) can be moved relative to a first grip-around portion (422) of the claws (42) between an open position, in which a rod-form element is accommodated by the claws (42), or can be removed from the claws (42), and a closed position, in which the claws (42) can grip around the rod-form element. The first grip-around portion (422) and the second grip-around portion (423) are designed here such that they grip around the rod-form element in the closed position in such a manner that a gap (S) remains between a free end (4224) of the first grip-around portion (422) and a free end (4231) of the second grip-around portion (423). Furthermore, the claws (42) comprise an arresting mechanism, which is designed to keep the first grip-around portion (422) and the second grip-around portion (423) in the closed position.

  • Publication number: 20230013163
Abstract: The invention relates to a cross brace (4) comprising an elongate bar portion (41) and two clips (42). The bar portion (41) has two substantially opposite longitudinal ends. The two clips (42) are each arranged on one of the two longitudinal ends of the bar portion (41) and are designed to almost fully enclose a bar-shaped element (22, 52). Furthermore, the two clips (42) can each be brought into an opened position, in which the bar-shaped element (22, 52) can be received by the clip (42) and removed from the clip (42), and into a closed position, in which the bar-shaped element (22, 52) can be fully enclosed by the clip (42). The clips (42) have a lock (425) which locks the clip (42) in the closed position.

  • Publication number: 20220408915
Abstract: A furniture kit is disclosed that includes a set each of floor ladders, longitudinal cross-bars, and longitudinal wind braces. Each of the floor ladders has two vertical supports connected via upper and lower rungs, each of the two vertical supports is equipped with a foot for placement on a floor. Each longitudinal end of the cross-bars is equipped with a latching claw mountable, without tools, on a floor ladder rung. Each of the wind braces is equipped at its longitudinal ends with a clamp designed to be mounted on a rung of a floor ladder by gripping the rung. Cross-bars and wind braces are designed such that a cross-bars can be mounted on upper rungs of first and second floor ladders, while one of the wind braces is mounted on the upper of the first of the floor ladders and the lower of the second of the floor ladders.

  • Patent number: 10724556
Abstract: A fastening element comprises a first clamping element and a second clamping element rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation on the first clamping element. The first and second clamping elements each have a first or second lever section, which extends essentially perpendicular to the axis of rotation, and a first or second connecting section, which extend away from that essentially parallel to the axis of rotation. The first lever section and the second lever section are moveable relative to one another about an axis of rotation between a splayed lever position and a non-splayed lever position. The first clamping element and the second clamping element are configured to hold the article when the first lever section and the second lever section are located in the splayed lever position, and to not hold the article when they are located in the non-splayed lever position.

  • Patent number: 10470563
Abstract: A height-adjustable piece of furniture includes a lower part, an upper part, an actuating device, first and second reference sections and a deformation sensor. Distance between the lower and upper parts can be adjusted by the actuating device. The deformation sensor is arranged to detect change between the first and second reference sections and is connected to the actuating device such that a signal of the deformation sensor can be transmitted to the actuating device. The actuating device is configured to stop the change in distance between the lower and upper parts if the signal transmitted by the deformation sensor corresponds to a change in distance that exceeds predefined threshold values. A cable protector is also provided for a cable to be mounted, and is coupled to the first and second reference sections such that tensile force acting on the cable causes change between the first and second reference sections.

  • Patent number: 10349737
Abstract: A height-adjustable frame for furniture, such as a worktable or desk, is disclosed. The frame includes first and second height-adjustable leg elements pivotable about first and second pivot axes between folded-out and folded-in positions. A rotatable shaft is arranged between the first and second leg elements to synchronously drive first and second height adjustment arrangements. The shaft includes a middle section and first and second end sections pivotable towards the middle section about respective first and second joint axes. A locking structure is included that locks the first and second leg elements in a folded-out position, when the first and second joint axes do not run approximately parallel to the first and second pivot axes, and that unlocks when the first and second joint axes run approximately parallel to the first and second pivot axes to permit the first and second leg elements to pivot into a folded-in position.
