  • Patent number: 9163878
Abstract: A device and method for transporting blanks is provided. The blanks are made from an initially plastic, subsequently dried and finally fired material. A transport tray transports the blanks through both a dryer and a kiln. The blanks can be stacked on a drying trolley or a firing trolley. A first transfer device transfers the blanks onto the drying trolley when the blanks are stacked on the transport tray and are plastic. The drying trolley transports the blanks and the transport tray in the dryer for drying the blanks. A second transfer device transfers the blanks and the transport tray onto the firing trolley after the blanks have been dried. The firing trolley transports the blanks and the transport tray in the kiln for firing the blanks.

  • Patent number: 8817430
Abstract: An AC voltage controller has two transistors which can be positioned between two AC voltage terminals in series with a load. The two transistors are connected in series in such a way that their respective source terminals are connected to one another. The AC voltage controller also contains a signal generator for generating a switching signal for actuating the two transistors, a buffer which is connected downstream of the signal generator and which is set by the signal generator in order to actuate the two transistors. An actuation circuit or driver circuit is connected downstream of the buffer, for the purpose of actuating the two transistors in accordance with the set state of the buffer. A current-limiting circuit is provided for limiting or switching off the current through the two transistors in the case of an excessively large current through the load.

  • Patent number: 8286287
Abstract: A control apparatus for an electrical domestic appliance with a component that presents a danger to the user and a protection component for protecting the user against a danger presented by the dangerous component, has a control device monitoring the operating states of the dangerous component and the protection component and also to activate and/or deactivate the protection component. A protection device prevents a deactivation of the protection component by the control device outside a deactivation operating range of the dangerous component, in which range deactivation of the protection component is permissible. The control apparatus also has a protection-device monitoring device that initiates a deactivation of the protection component within a simulation operating range of the dangerous component within which the operating state of the dangerous component does not present a danger to the user and which range is outside the deactivation operating range.

  • Patent number: 7856854
Abstract: An appliance with a hazardous device contains a first controller controlled by a first control element which, in turn, is controlled by a second controller by use of a first switching element. An electrically controllable protection device is provided and is controlled by a second control element, it is possible to deactivate the protection device. A storage capacitor is provided between the first and the second control element and supplies the second control element with energy for a control pulse and is charged by the first control element when the first controller is switched off and is discharged by the first switching element when the first controller is switched on. This circuit generates a safe control circuit. In the event of a possible hazardous state, either the first controller is no longer supplied with energy or the protection device cannot be deactivated, and so danger to a user is precluded.

  • Publication number: 20050017941
Abstract: In spite of the enormous market-originating price pressure, even large-scale domestic appliances can be fitted with LCD displays for user guidance. The expensive universal driver circuits (LCD controller ICs) with their many unused functionalities are replaced by simple logic gate circuits synchronized by a host processor for the exchange of image data between the V-RAM and the display, for cyclically successively counting through the pixels (that is to say columns) per image line and the lines per image representation of the display. As now an address in the V-RAM and thus a matrix position in the image of the display corresponds to each counting position per image, and the memory is not occupied with image data continuously but only in a corresponding section. This however is not a problem because large image data memories are available very inexpensively in comparison with an expensive LCD controller IC.

  • Patent number: 6792922
Abstract: A fuel delivery unit for an internal combustion engine including a housing, which includes a timing unit for shifting the point of injection of fuel into the combustion chambers of the internal combustion engine. An injection timing piston is accommodated in the timing unit, which is displaceably mounted in the timing unit and which encloses a trailing piston displaceably relative thereto. The timing unit contains a pressure chamber which may be pressurized/depressurized via an actuator, a cold start accelerator piston being movable via the pressure chamber, acting upon both the trailing piston via a spring element and, together with a spring-sleeve combination, influencing the injection timing piston.

  • Publication number: 20040045537
Abstract: A high-pressure fuel pump (10) is used for a fuel system of a direct-injection internal combustion engine. It includes a housing (12) as well as a low-pressure inlet (18). A high-pressure outlet (20) is also present, which can be connected to a fuel collection line (22). To enable the most compact, small embodiment possible of the high-pressure fuel pump (10), it is proposed that the fuel collection line (22) be integrated into the housing (12) of the high-pressure fuel pump (10).
