A plurality of data types are selected from the data set. Data values are determined for the plurality of data types at the plurality of data locations. An icon is constructed at the plurality of data locations from selected data values determined from the plurality of data types. The icons constructed at the plurality of data locations are displayed. Alternatively, the icons are displayed changing in time.
