Abstract: An adhesive dispenser includes a support structure, a valve body that is mounted to the support structure and is configured to receive at least first and second adhesive materials, and a nozzle assembly that is connected to the valve body. The nozzle assembly includes a rigid tube that extends from the valve body to a tube end, and a mixing insert that is received within the tube and extends to an insert end. The mixing insert is configured to receive the first and second adhesive materials from the valve body for intermixing upstream from the insert end. The dispenser further includes a nozzle that is supported relative to the support structure and arranged about the tube end and the insert end. The nozzle has an opening at a terminal end, and a shaped aperture adjoins the opening. The nozzle is configured to dispense intermixed adhesive through the opening and aperture onto a component.

Abstract: A bracket presenter for an ultrasonic welder includes a one-piece first bracket portion and a one-piece second bracket portion mounted relative to one another. First and second tapered features are respectively provided by the first and second bracket portions and are nested relative to one another. The first and second tapered features engage in an extended position and are spaced from one another in a compressed position to provide a clearance enabling the first and second bracket portions to float lateral relative to one another. A spring biases the first and second bracket portions apart.

Abstract: A method of adjusting multiple tools on a common mount includes the interrogating first and second actual target positions on at least one workpiece. A variance is determined between the first and second actual target position and first and second theoretical target positions. At least one of the first and second tools is moved relative to the other of the first and second tools from the first and second theoretical target positions to a desired spacing respectively aligned with the first and second actual target positions.

Abstract: A liner setting tool. A system for conveying a liner string into a subterranean well includes a liner setting tool which selectively connects and disconnects a work string and a liner string. The liner setting tool is configured to transmit compressive force, tensile force and torque between the work string and the liner string. In another system, the liner setting tool is operable to disconnect the work string from the liner string in response to a predetermined pressure differential applied to the liner setting tool. In yet another system, the liner setting tool is operable to disconnect the work string from the liner string in response to displacement of a release member of the liner setting tool followed by displacement of the work string relative to the liner string.

Abstract: A multi-layered wellbore junction. In a described embodiment, a method of forming an expanded chamber in a subterranean well includes the steps of: positioning multiple chamber sidewall layers in the well; and expanding the layers in the well to form the expanded chamber.

Abstract: A container comprises a hollow body (6) blow-moulded from an injection-moulded thermoplastics preform, the body (6) having an inside shoulder (28) at a mouth end of the body, the shoulder (28) having a radially innermost diameter less than the internal diameter of the axially outermost extremity of the mouth end. A foil (8) closes the body (6) at the shoulder (8) and is sealingly attached to the shoulder. A snap-on, removable, injection-moulded closure (10) is applied over the (10) mouth end of the body (6).
