  • Publication number: 20240025648
Abstract: The conveyor system comprises a frame (2) with a substantially plane conveying surface composed by rollers (3) for conveying products (P) in a conveying direction T to an end station with end stop (8); —wherein the frame (2) comprises an edge part with roller shaft slots (5) each with a roller shaft slot lower end, in which roller shafts (4) are displaceably received; —wherein the conveyor system further comprises a beam (6) with a drive belt (7) arranged against the rollers (3) for rotating the rollers (3) to thereby convey the products (P), in particular such that upon a product (P) reaching the end stop (8) or upon a product (P) reaching a preceding arrived product (P) said drive belt (7) slips under the rollers (3) under these arrived products (P); and —wherein the conveyor system is configured such that a maximum pushing force which buffers these products (P) is obtained.

  • Patent number: 10513359
Abstract: An apparatus for receiving and transporting a stream of eggs, comprising, a conveyor for transporting eggs in a transport direction T, a releasing device connected with the conveyor, for releasing predetermined eggs away from the conveyor, separately, downwardly out of the stream, a guide for receiving and taking over such an egg from the releasing device and guiding it to an egg processing apparatus, and two driven star wheels placed substantially close to each other, with shafts perpendicular to T, and with opposite directions of rotation of the shafts, while upon rotation their blades along a part of the rotation path are placed over each other and transport the eggs substantially cupwise downwardly. In a suitable manner, with this apparatus, for example intact but dirty eggs can be released from a sorting stream and be received for further handling or processing.

  • Publication number: 20160068346
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for transferring eggs from a upstream first endless roller conveyor (1) to a downstream second endless roller conveyor (2), wherein the eggs during transfer are guided by means of a star wheel unit (3), thereby rotating and taking over the eggs at the very downstream down going end of the first conveyor, guiding the eggs during a downward movement over a saddle (4), and releasing the eggs onto the very upstream end of the second conveyor (2), wherein the first conveyor (1) has a first transporting speed v1 and the second conveyor (2) has a second transporting speed v2, with substantially v2/v1=r, with r a real number>1, wherein at least the second conveyor is transporting the eggs in a transporting direction in a substantial horizontal plane, wherein the eggs are transferred onto an horizontal part of said second conveyor.
