    Abstract: In a VDI session, an application is dynamically deployed in a host server or a client device to achieve improved performance. The host server establishes a VDI session with the client device and executes an application in response to a request from the client device. The host server determines, based on a set of performance parameters associated with the VDI session, that the client device is to take over the execution of the application. Execution of the application is then suspended, and state data of the application is collected when the application is suspended. Thereafter, the host server sends an instruction and the state data to the client device to instruct the client device to resume execution of the application from a state defined by the state data.

    Abstract: Implementations are disclosed for using magnetometer measurements to estimate bias for angular rate measurements provided by an angular rate sensor (e.g., a gyro sensor). In some implementations, a bias estimator running on a device is configured to determine if the device is rotating based on the magnetometer measurements. If the device is not rotating, a dynamic bias is calculated and added to a temperature compensated static bias to provide a total angular rate measurement bias. The total angular rate measurement bias can be provided to an attitude estimation system where it is used to update an attitude (orientation) of the device. In some implementations, the angular rate measurements are used to determine if the device is oscillating according to a threshold value. If the device is not rotating and the device is oscillating according to a threshold value, the static bias is updated in a calibration table.

In embodiments of the present invention, an adaptation unit intercepts a CS signaling message after an inter-mobile switching center (MSC) handover, and converts CS signaling messages to IMS signaling messages and vice versa, so that the IMS domain may continue to control a session after the inter-MSC handover.

    Abstract: When a Stirling refrigerating engine for cooling a refrigerator starts, an operation is performed such that a gas-phase fluid flowing through a natural circulation circuit on a high temperature side attains a temperature higher than that in a normal operation. More specifically, the Stirling refrigerating engine operates with a piston drive speed higher than a normal speed, or a fan motor arranged for a condenser on the high temperature side stops. Thereby, a gas/liquid coexistent refrigerant in a high temperature side evaporator attains a pressure higher than a normal pressure. Thereby, a liquid phase fluid in a forced-circulation circuit on a high temperature side also attains a pressure higher than a normal pressure so that bubbles produced in the liquid phase fluid disappear, and a circulation pump can start.
