  • Patent number: 11976634
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for accessing SCADA data of a wind turbine in a protected manner and to an assembly designed to carry out said method. The SCADA data together with master data of the wind turbine is transmitted to a broker server in a digitally signed form, said broker server generating a metadata set on the basis of said data and transmitting the metadata set to user clients. If the user client is interested in the SCADA data, the user client transmits the metadata set back to the broker server in a digitally signed form. The broker server responds with a likewise digitally signed delivery data set comprising the metadata set signed by the user client and the SCADA and master data belonging to the metadata set.

  • Patent number: 11916390
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a wind turbine or a plurality of wind turbines combined in a wind farm, to a control unit designed for carrying out the method and to a corresponding computer program product. For the method the wind turbine or the wind farm has a control unit connected to a remote-access data transmission network for controlling the power supply to the wind turbine(s). The control unit is designed for receiving control signals of at least two higher-level controls with different priorities, and stored in the control unit is a schedule of whether, and for which of the higher-level controls, the control unit is reserved for converting control signals at a point in time, the received control signals being converted or discarded as a function of the timetable and the priority of the respective transmitting higher-level control.

  • Publication number: 20220145857
Abstract: A method for controlling a wind energy installation arrangement having at least one wind energy installation. The method includes determining pairs of values of a first quantity which depends on a wind speed, and a second quantity which depends on a power of the wind energy installation arrangement, and determining eigenvalues and/or eigenvectors of a covariance matrix of the pairs of determined values. The method may further include determining at least one intensity value that is dependent on a standard deviation and a mean value of a rotational speed and/or a torque of the wind energy installation arrangement and/or of a wind speed, and determining a value of a control parameter of the wind energy installation arrangement with the aid of an artificial intelligence based on the eigenvalues and/or eigenvectors and/or the at least one intensity value. The wind energy installation arrangement is controlled based on the control parameter value.

  • Publication number: 20220012821
Abstract: A method for predicting an energy parameter value of at least one wind farm that is connected to an electricity grid via a grid connection point and which includes at least one wind energy installation. The method includes detecting values of input parameters that include state parameters, control parameters and/or service parameters of the wind farm, in particular of the wind energy installation and/or of the grid connection point, and/or of at least one facility external to the wind farm, and predicting the energy parameter value on the basis of the detected input parameter values and a machine-learned relationship between the input parameters and the energy parameter.

  • Patent number: 8588987
Abstract: A wind farm includes a plurality of wind energy installations, a transfer point at which electrical energy produced by the wind energy installations is transferred to a public electricity grid system and for which nominal values are preset, and a measurement sensor configured to measure electrical actual values at the transfer point. The wind farm also includes a master regulator associated with an upper control level and configured to use upper nominal values and upper actual values at the upper control level to determine a preset for a lower control level, and a plurality of submaster regulators associated with the lower control level and configured to use the preset as a lower nominal value and, on the basis of the lower nominal value and a lower actual value, determine presets for the wind energy installations. A high level of control accuracy can thus be achieved even in large wind farms.
