The device includes data storage circuitry for storing data, a display configured to display data to a user, a processor configured to control the display and the data storage circuitry, and user input circuitry. The processor is configured to control the display based on user input to: graphically display an aggregate period view having at least two period views, graphically display a single period view, graphically display a data type symbol corresponding to a given data type, graphically display at least one data type symbol for every period view, and display a card view including information data corresponding to a selected data type symbol.

Abstract: The invention provides a device for displaying information, comprising display means adapted to graphically display information as a function of time for a given period of time, and input means for changing the time from a first time setting to a second time setting, thereby generating an end of time value for the first setting and a start of time value for the second time setting. Abstract: Aerosol dispensing devices and methods for using the same for administering aerosolized drugs to a subject are provided. Aspects of the aerosol dispensing device include an aerosol production unit configured to produce an aerosol from a liquid containing a pharmaceutically active drug, and a burst valve adapted to mechanically open in response to a subject's inhalation. The burst valve is configured to prevent airflow through the device until the subject's inhalation produces an operational pressure difference across the burst valve. In some embodiments, the operational pressure difference can be 15 cm H2O or less. Aspects of the invention can also include a heating element configured to evaporate water from aerosol droplets. The devices and methods of the invention find use in a variety of applications, such as in applications in which it is desired to administer an aerosolized drug to a subject.

Abstract: A cuvette for a spectrometric analysis instrument has two opposing windows made of a material, which is transparent to the light of the waveband used for the analysis. The windows define a limited light path of a light beam passing through a cavity inside the cuvette. When using cuvettes having windows of a material, such as diamond, having a refractive index considerably different from the fluid to be analyzed, the window surfaces forming the cuvette cavity should not be parallel, thereby ensuring that the internal distances between opposed areas of the window surfaces will vary across the transparent windows. Thereby any internal reflections within the cavity will add in almost random phase, avoiding any tendency to resonance. This is very advantageous when the instrument is a member of a plurality of instruments, which must be standardized in order to be able to provide uniform calibrations for said plurality of instruments.
