Patents by Inventor Henri Bellotto

Henri Bellotto has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 8358188
Abstract: An electronic module for a trip device has been optimised so as to integrate the known functionalities, in particular threshold parameter setting, current measurements, voltage taps, read-out display and communication. An electromagnetic actuator is further present in the electronic module to optimise breaking of the associated circuit breaker. The space occupation constraints inherent to location of the trip device in existing switchgear units have been respected.

    Assignee: Schneider Electric Industries SAS
Inventors: Henri Bellotto, Frédéric Toti Buttin
  • Patent number: 7717751
Abstract: An electrical connector designed to be connected to the edge of a printed circuit card having a first face placed in contact with a support. Said connector comprises at least one metal blade designed to be in contact with an electrical track placed on a second face of the printed circuit card, and at least one securing means designed to secure the electrical connector on the edge of said card. Said at least one metal blade is designed to exert a gripping force on the printed circuit card to keep the latter in contact with the support, movement of the electrical connector and of the printed circuit card being limited in at least one direction perpendicular to the faces of the printed circuit card.

  • Patent number: 6175289
Abstract: A trip device comprises a removable module for determining long delay tripping parameters, designed to be fixed to a front panel of the trip device. In the fixed position, the removable module exerts a pressure, via an auxiliary part, on a movable part so as to move the latter to a position in which it performs voltage connection of the processing circuit of the trip device to the conductors of a power system to be protected. In an unlocked position of the removable module, the movable part is urged to the disconnected position by a spring. The part can be movable in rotation or in translation.

  • Patent number: 5877691
Abstract: The circuit breaker comprises a circuit breaker unit onto which there are fixed a communication module, a processing module and a calibration module. The communication module communicates with the processing module only via a connection with galvanic isolation, preferably an optical connection, whereas the calibration module is electrically connected to the processing module. The communication module is, in addition, connected by a mechanical connection to parts of the circuit breaker unit representative of the state of the circuit breaker, and by a bidirectional electrical connection to an external communication bus. An interface connected to the circuit breaker unit can act as support for the calibration module and for an additional module containing information representative of the breaking capacity of the circuit breaker and electrically connected to the processing module.
