  • Patent number: 8733809
Abstract: A method and apparatus for handling a wheel of large mass from a storage position to enable its mounting onto the hub of a vehicle, wherein the method includes placing a tire in a handling device having two ends which are of substantially equal length, the length being longer than the perimeter of the wheel, between two ends of the handling device, bringing together the ends of the handling device so as to imprison the wheel within the handling device, and hooking the ends of the handling device into a handling and lifting device.

  • Patent number: 8177472
Abstract: A process to invert a structure, for example a vehicle body after an equipment mounting phase, namely of mobility means, on the underside of said structure, process wherein the structure is made to swivel around an instantaneous axis of rotation which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the structure, such axis of rotation being located in the vicinity of a first end of the structure, maneuvering means being positioned at the other end of the structure to control this swiveling.

  • Publication number: 20110206495
Abstract: A handling process for a wheel of large mass from a storage position, in particular to enable its mounting onto the hub of a vehicle, wherein said process comprises the following steps: a handling device that comprises at least two flexible non-elastic attachments parallel to one another and linked by at least two flexible and non-elastic fastening means is positioned on said wheel, said attachments and said fastening means enable the tire tread mounted on said wheel to be encircled over substantially 360°, said attachment thus being position at each side flank of said wheel, the ends of said different flexible attachments are brought together so as to imprison said wheel within said handling device, said ends of said different flexible attachments of said handling device are hooked onto a handling and lifting device, such as a winch integral with a bridge crane, said bridge crane ensuring the lifting and displacement of said wheel.

  • Patent number: 6342580
Abstract: A process for obtaining aminopolyamide-epichlorohydrin resins with a 1,3-dichloro-2-propanol content which is undetectable by ordinary means of vapor-phase chromatography. The process consists of passing the products resulting from the successive condensation of aminopolyamides and epichlorohydrin through two columns of activated carbon. In this way, aqueous resins are obtained which are free of toxic products, and which are particularly valuable as wet strength additives in the manufacture of papers for medical, cosmetic or food contact uses.
