  • Patent number: 5716134
Abstract: The invention provides an arrangement for detecting the temperature of an automatic gearbox which has a temperature sensor and a starter-interlock contact switch in the gearbox component and, externally with respect thereto, a gearbox control device to which signal information from the temperature sensor and from the starter-interlock contact switch can be fed via separate signal lines. The temperature sensor and the starter-interlock contact switch are connected to a common signal line which leads to the gearbox control device, specifically in a series or parallel circuit arrangement.

  • Patent number: 5401222
Abstract: A device is provided for influencing starting of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle that has an electronically controlled gearbox, an electrically acting interlock that prevents the internal combustion engine from being put into operation when a gearbox status causing a driving force connection is selected, and a starter with an electromagnetic disengagement switch that is suppliable with battery current from an ignition switch during actuation of the starter. The device has an electronic engine control unit for at least one of ignition and metering of fuel, with a communicative connection communicatively connecting the engine control unit to the gearbox control. A direct connection is provided from the ignition switch to the electromagnetic disengagement switch for supplying battery current to the electromagnetic disengagement switch without an intermediate disabling switch.

  • Patent number: 4878388
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method for simulating and demonstrating the gas exchange during ventilation wherein the breathing gas is influenced with respect to its constituents by changing the portion of at least one breathing gas component metered to the carrier gas. The method permits simulation of physiological functions occurring during anesthesia such as the uptake and release of anesthetic agents. For this purpose, an anesthetic agent is admixed to the breathing gas and this anesthetic gas mixture is conducted through a reservoir filled with organic oil to simulate the anesthetic agent uptake and release by the human or animal body.
