  • Publication number: 20190255454
Abstract: An apparatus and method for shaping a malleable compound including a major frame, a mesh secured to a minor frame, the mesh having an upper surface and a lower surface and the minor frame engaged with the major frame. In addition, a tray is disposed beneath the mesh and is separable from the major frame, mesh and minor frame. To assist in the formation of the shaped malleable material, a cutter of a desired pattern with a lower edge, an upper surface and an open extended interior spanning between the lower edge and the upper surface is utilized. The lower edge of the cutter is placed over the mesh atop the malleable compound and hand pressure is applied to the cutter causing the malleable compound to extrude through the mesh past the lower edge into the open interior of the cutter resulting in the malleable compound taking on the shaped of the desired pattern.

  • Patent number: 5580161
Abstract: A fluorescent light fixture has a fluorescent light starter assembly secured within a vented housing. The housing has a base with an electrical connector which feeds the external power to the fluorescent light starter assembly. The base of the housing is secured to a tubular adaptor. The other end of the adaptor is secured to the lamp post. Power is provided to the fluorescent light by an external power supply wire which typically runs from a wall outlet, through the center of the lamp post and the adapter, and to the base of the housing where it is secured to the electrical connectors which provide power to the fluorescent light starter assembly. The adaptor may include a switch for manually turning on and off the fluorescent light starter assembly. The switch is electrically connected to the external power supply wire and the electrical connectors at the base of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4717365
Abstract: A toy sword spaceship having a generally hollow body shell containing opposed track channels in which lateral guide rails of an elongated toy sword blade are received for sliding back and forth. Pivotally mounted wings fold out when the sword blade is slid from a retracted position to a fully extended position. Depending from the sword blade is a pivotally mounted handle which folds up and is received substantially within the body shell when the blade is retracted. To receive a toy action figure, the sword spaceship is provided with a recessed cockpit area that is covered by a pivotally mounted, transparent, canopy.

  • Patent number: 4468029
Abstract: A portable pneumatic action game for two opposing players has a base including a central raised hollow core supporting a playing surface and oppositely extending end sills. The playing surface has an array of separate elongated channels, each with an aperture at each end. A transparent cover extends over all of the channels. Slots in the cover permit insertion of a playing piece into each channel. Slidably mounted on each of the sills is a manual air pump and nozzle which can be moved by the player along one end of the channel array to selectively register the nozzle in pneumatic communication with the aperture of one channel to propel the playing piece toward the opposite end. An opening is provided in the bottom of each channel adjacent each end for the playing piece to drop down into the hollow central core for later tallying of the respective players' scores.

  • Patent number: 4274629
Abstract: A competitive action game apparatus includes a playing surface defined on a base movably mounting at least two figures for relative movement. The figures each include a manual actuator and at least one pivotal, removably attached, outwardly extending arm which includes, on the outer end thereof, a hook or similar grabbing device for hooking onto an object. The actuator comprises a depending handle or similar member which is attached to the body for rotating the body relative to the playing surface. In the preferred embodiment, the two figures each include a plurality of arms and are rotatably mounted on the surface at locations such that the hook ends of the arms can engage one another, detaching one of the arms from the corresponding figure thereby providing a fighting action.

  • Patent number: 4248009
Abstract: A toy motor vehicle includes a body supported by wheels for rolling movement over a supporting surface. The body is provided with a first compartment having a transparent wall segment and a second compartment in communication therewith having opaque walls. A plurality of balls representing gallons of fuel are adapted to be contained in the respective compartments and means is provided for moving the balls from the first compartment into the second compartment as the toy vehicle is moved around, thus simulating the using up and eventually running out of gas when all the balls are moved out of view into the second, opaque-walled compartment. A gas pump element is detachably connectable with the vehicle and includes a rotating flexible shaft which is adapted to drive a mechanism in the vehicle for returning the fuel elements or balls from the opaque compartment back into the first compartment to simulate refueling of the vehicle at a gas pump.

  • Patent number: 4244573
Abstract: A game includes a playing field that in the preferred embodiment may be concave toward a goal in the form of a central aperture. A playing object such as, in the preferred embodiment, a ball is included with the game and the object of the game is to move the ball into the goal. At least one player actuated paddle member is pivotally mounted on the playing field and may be manually actuated by the hand of a player of the game to engage the playing object in an attempt to direct it into the goal. The playing field is positioned on a base and supported thereabove to allow the hand of the player to grasp a handle depending from the peddle member through and beneath the playing field. The playing field preferably includes a surrounding or peripheral rim on which a scoring device for recording the score of the player is mounted.

  • Patent number: 4210331
Abstract: A game apparatus for use with play pieces and playable by one or more players, generally two, and including a playing area movable in a cyclical path during play by a suitable driving mechanism. The playing area has structure defining spaced play piece receiving and retention positions, which may be arranged in distinct sub-areas each having a plurality of the positions to receive and removably retain play pieces directed thereto for possible retention from one or more play piece launching stations adjacent the playing area. Selectively operable controls at the launching stations are operable by the players for directing their play pieces onto the area in an effort to score as by placing most pieces into the retention positions or in all the positions in one or more sub-areas. A stop is provided to stop movement of the playing area to permit removal of the play pieces for the starting of another game.

  • Patent number: 4174835
Abstract: A competitive game device wherein opposed projectile launching stations are interconnected by a bridge containing a plurality of linearly spaced target receptacles, each suitable for receiving a plurality of projectiles. The launching stations are provided with launching platforms for positioning a projectile preparatory to launching. Manually operable propulsion devices are provided at each launching station for allowing each opposing player to launch projectiles in the direction of the target receptacles. Sets of projectiles for each player are differentiated by distinctive colors or symbols. The players may establish the rules of the game with respect to the number of projectiles to be launched and concurrent or sequential operation of their respective propulsion devices. Victory may be awarded to the player who first lands a specified number of his projectiles in one or more of the target receptacles.
