    Abstract: A closed loop coolant circuit for a helium cooled high temperature reactor. The circuit has a conventional purification by-pass loop including an oxidizing bed for impurities and an absorption bed for the oxidized impurities. A recycle pipe line is provided whereby a fraction of wet gas leaving the oxidizing bed is returned to the main coolant circuit.
