Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods may relate to a system for predicting a respirator fit by comparing a respirator model in a deformed state to a specific facial model. In an illustrative example, an internal measurement may be calculated between an inside part of the respirator model and the facial model. The internal measurement may be compared against a predetermined threshold to determine a fit of the respirator model, for example. In various implementations, the internal measurement may be a distance and/or a volume between the respirator and facial model. In some implementations, a 3D representation of the respirator model may be displayed upon a 3D representation of the facial model. In some implementations, a color-coded facial display may characterize areas of comfort and discomfort with respect to the respirator model. For example, areas of comfort and discomfort may be objectively determined in view of an applied pressure by the respirator.

Abstract: Wind noise reduction is provided by obtaining a first signal from a first microphone and a contemporaneous second signal from a second microphone. A level of the first signal is compared to a level of the second signal, within a short or substantially instantaneous time frame. If the level of the first signal exceeds the level of the second signal by greater than a predefined difference threshold, a suppression is applied to the first signal.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for annotating three-dimensional displays are described herein. One method includes displaying, by a computing device, a particular view of a 3D model of a facility, the 3D model including a plurality of objects, each object associated with a respective annotation, determining a context associated with the 3D model, and displaying a subset of the plurality of annotations associated with a respective subset of the plurality of objects based on the context.

Abstract: Embodiments herein may relate to a substrate that includes a coaxial via with a signal portion and a ground shield portion. In embodiments, the via may further include a pad that is coupled with the signal portion. The pad and the ground shield portion may not be coplanar with one another. In embodiments, the substrate may have a plurality of vias that may be formed in a staged and/or skipped manner. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract: Various embodiments disclose systems and methods for employing a Sub1G signal (e.g. a signal in the range of approximately 500 Mhz or 800 mHz) for use with internal and/or external components of various user devices. The Sub1G region may provide a path loss advantage over traditional 2.4 and 5 Ghz systems because of the lower frequency in free-space path loss model. Sub 1G may also present less interference compared to 2.4 GHz (e.g., better QoS for applications such as VOIP, Gaming, etc.). In some of the disclosed embodiments, Sub1G may be employed using current 2.4G or 5G Wireless LAN chipset with RF Up/Down Converters. In some embodiments, the Sub1G approach may be used to create a Long Range Bridge, Long Range Extender, Long Range Client, Long Range Hotspot, etc.

Abstract: A method and system for identifying and labeling fraudulent store return activities includes receiving, by a server, retailer events from an online transaction system of a retailer, the retailer events comprising records of transactions between customers and the retailer, including sale, exchange and return activities across multiple stores. The retailer events are processed to build a network that associates stores, transactions, payment instruments, and customer identification over related activity sequences of transactions.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for power interconnection, adapted for use between a main connector and a DC main. The power connector has a connector power terminal and the DC main has a DC main power terminal. The apparatus includes an apparatus power terminal for being electrically coupled to the DC main power terminal in response to the apparatus in connection with the DC main; a first conductor including a resistor and a conductive contact, the conductive contact being electrically coupled to the resistor; and a second conductor, the resistor being electrically coupled to the second conductor, wherein, in response to an action of the power connector in connection with the apparatus, the connector power terminal contacts the conductive contact and a first current flowing therethrough is limited by the resistor. A receptacle structure for power interconnection is also disclosed.

Abstract: A crosstalk canceller for reducing acoustic crosstalk at a time of audio playback is derived by forming a channel frequency response for a nominated playback geometry, and decomposing the channel frequency response to derive a decomposition element such as a singular value decomposition matrix. A value of the decomposition element, such as the smallest singular value, is then adjusted to reduce spectral coloration, and filter coefficients of a crosstalk cancellation filter are derived from the adjusted decomposition element.

Abstract: Devices, methods, and systems for generating an operational user interface for a building management system are described herein. One method includes generating a widget using geometrical information associated with a building information modeling object and relationship information associated with the building information modeling object, assigning a state variable to the widget by analyzing properties of the building information modeling object or an ontology definition of the building information modeling object, associating the state variable with a point from the building operation system by mapping the point to the state variable, and changing the state variable based on input received from a user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for increasing an efficiency of an operator of a security system are discussed generally herein. A system can include a memory including ontology data saved thereon, the ontology data can define interrelationships between a scanner associated with access to a room of an area under surveillance, a camera with a field of view at least partially overlapping a footprint of the room, an identifier configured to be scanned by the scanner and associated with a person, and a security policy including one or more predefined conditions, which when satisfied, indicate when a security threat exists, the security policy includes a response an operator can perform if the conditions are satisfied, and the system can include a query module configured to receive a query and search the ontology data and temporal and spatial data associated with the area under surveillance in response to receiving the query.

Registration information comprising addresses for the endpoints is received and then stored in a routing table at the endpoint. The endpoint locates a callee endpoint using the routing table in order to establish a session with the callee endpoint.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to determining a fit-quality metric for a mask/face combination based upon a calculated dead-space volume between a virtual mask and a virtual face virtually aligned so as to create an integrity seal circumscribing a mouth and nose region. In an illustrative embodiment, an interactive virtual fitting system may receive a three-dimensional (3D) virtual face associated with a person. The system may retrieve 3D models of various respirators selected by user determined criteria. The system may then compute a fit-quality metric for each of the retrieved 3D models. The potential wearer may then be presented with the metrics for review. The potential wearer may select a respirator based upon these computed metrics. A virtual fitting of many respirators may advantageously reduce the time needed for selecting a properly fitting respirator while simultaneously ensuring that the selected respirator may be comfortable and well fitting.

Abstract: Wind noise reduction in microphone signals. A first microphone signal is obtained from a first omnidirectional microphone and, contemporaneously, a second microphone signal is obtained from a second omnidirectional microphone. The first and second microphone signals are mixed to produce an output signal. Mixing involves weighting the first and second microphone signals by respective first and second signal weights to produce respective first and second weighted microphone signals, and summing the first and second weighted microphone signals together to produce the output signal. The first and second signal weights are calculated to minimise the power of the output signal.
