Abstract: The object of this invention is a double multichromatic photometer including a single light-source and a single detector, particularly for the determination of chemical and clinical analyses, in which the photometer light comes from a single light-source which radiates along three distinct optical paths that converge onto a single detector; two of the optical paths are the first and the second measuring channels, which are alternatively excluded whereas the third optical path is for reference purposes. An optical collimation assembly and a measurement cuvette are inserted into each of the two measuring optical paths or channels. Within said three optical paths is inserted a rotating drum, said drum holds a number of interference filters, allowing the third reference optical path to pass freely, and inserts one filter at a time into one or the other of the two measuring optical paths.

Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic multichannel apparatus for performing emergency analyses on biological fluids comprising an arm carrying a needle arranged for taking out the sample directly from a test tube, a rotating distributing arrangement suitable for dividing the aspirated sample in a number of parts corresponding to the number of desired analyses, means for the addition of reagents, a unit for performing photometric measurements, and means for data transmission to a microprocessor or a computer for the processing of said data and the printout of the results.

Abstract: An automatic multichannel apparatus for performing analyses on fluids, comprising, in combination, an array of sample-holder test tubes, mounted on an intermittently indexed drum, a needle for sample withdrawal carried by a mobile arm and adapted to be successively introduced into the test tubes to aspirate samples to be analyzed, a distributor-mixer complex, for distributing the sample to be analyzed on many segments and adding the various reagents for the various analyses to the samples, means for measuring photometrically the samples and printout of the data related to the analyses.

Abstract: Apparatus comprising in combination, an analytic circular stage rotatably mounted on a casing containing the whole apparatus, means to stepwise rotate said stage, a set of sample-carrying test tubes located in an annular array on said stage, a set of reaction test-tubes located concentrically and outside of said sample-carrying test tubes, aligned radially with said sample-carrying tubes so that two reaction test-tubes will coincide with each sample-carrying test tube, a first needle-carrying head located above said stage and destined to draw the sample and to add the reagents, and a second needle carrying head, located by side of the first cited head and destined to draw the liquid from the reaction tubes and to send it to the metering instruments.
