  • Patent number: 10638352
Abstract: Management services are provided during local breakout at a femto access point (FAP). In an aspect, the FAP facilitates policy management and employs a policy component to perform an analysis and enforce a set of policies for dynamically selecting an optimal route for traffic received at the FAP based on a decision-making process. Typically, the set of policies can specify different routes based on various factors, such as, but not limited to, type of traffic, current and/or future network resource availability, current time, day and/or date, location of the FAP, location of a UE sending/receiving the traffic, a lowest cost route, and/or route based on cost-benefit, etc. Further, a monitoring component is employed to observe the route employed by that traffic, which can be utilized by various services, such as, billing, Quality of Service, security management, address management, failure management and/or provisioning.

  • Patent number: 10362981
Abstract: A method for diagnosing a body malfunction is provided. At least one change in urinary parameter values, being indicative of the body malfunction, is monitored and detected. A volumetric urinary output of kidneys is monitored using a urine flow monitoring apparatus having a low flow metering device. It is determined whether a change exists in at least one of a volume value of the volumetric urinary output, and a trend of the corresponding urinary parameter value during a predetermined period. Signals are received from a plurality of electrodes, representing the urinary parameter values. The body malfunction is detected based on the determination of the change in at least one of the volume value and the trend.

  • Publication number: 20150127542
Abstract: In some embodiments, a verbal authorization system comprises a financial services repository operable to store information identifying one or more financial services provided by a financial enterprise. The financial enterprise provides a financial service of the one or more financial services in response to a written authorization from a client. An eligibility engine is operable to determine whether the client is eligible to apply for verbal authorization status such that the client may provide verbal authorization during a telephone call to a fulfillment representative of the financial enterprise in lieu of the written authorization. A verbal authorization repository is operable to store client authorization information. The client authorization information identifies the client and whether the client has achieved the verbal authorization status.

  • Publication number: 20120129710
Abstract: A member of a specific binding pair (sbp) is identified by expressing DNA encoding a genetically diverse population of such sbp members in recombinant host cells in which the sbp members are displayed in functional form at the surface of a secreted recombinant genetic display package (rgdp) containing DNA encoding the sbp member or a polypeptide component thereof, by virtue of the sbp member or a polypeptide component thereof being expressed as a fusion with a capsid component of the rgdp. The displayed sbps may be selected by affinity with a complementary sbp member, and the DNA recovered from selected rgdps for expression of the selected sbp members. Antibody sbp members may be thus obtained, with the different chains thereof expressed, one fused to the capsid component and the other in free form for association with the fusion partner polypeptide. A phagemid may be used as an expression vector, with said capsid fusion helping to package the phagemid DNA.

  • Publication number: 20110167336
Abstract: A method of generating a web site including one or more web pages includes receiving user input including a selection of one of a plurality of web site layouts, each web site layout including a plurality of elements configured to be customized by a user. The plurality of elements of the selected web site layout is displayed on a display device, including a first element displayed in a first position on the display device. User input including a drag and drop action performed on the first element is received. The first element is then displayed in a second position on the display device, the second position being different than the first position according to the user input including the drag and drop action.

The subject may be administered a carotenoid analog or derivative, either alone or in combination with another carotenoid analog or derivative, or co-antioxidant formulation. The carotenoid analog may include a conjugated polyene with between 7 to 14 double bonds. The conjugated polyene may include an acyclic alkene including at least one substituent and/or a cyclic ring including at least one substituent.
