Patent number: 11552958Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating and executing a user request with increased security and efficiency are provided. A method may include receiving a selection from a user to restrict informational access of a selected administrator who is logged in to a system network, and locking access of the administrator to secure user information. The method may also include receiving, from the user, limited identifying information, and transmitting to the user, based on the limited identifying information, a uniform resource locator (URL) link and a one-time password (OTP). The method may also include achieving 2-factor authentication when the user accesses the URL link and submits the OTP, and receiving from the user the secure user information and a service request. In response to receiving the secure user information and the service request, the method may include executing a response to the service request via the system network.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2020Date of Patent: January 10, 2023Assignee: Bank of America CorporationInventors: Radha Sattanathan, Helga Russman, Sonja M. Publication number: 20220305249Abstract: An aseptic coupling arrangement can include a first coupling device and a second aseptic coupling device. In one embodiment, the first and second coupling devices are substantially similar, each having a main body defining a front face and a fluid passageway therethrough. A first connecting feature disposed on the main body of each coupling device may be provided for aligning and coupling the aseptic devices together. Each coupling device may also include a sealing member received in the main body and a membrane removably coupled to the main body front face to cover the sealing member. The first aseptic coupling device may also include a rotatable protective cover that is removably attached to the main body and connected to the membrane. In one embodiment, the removal of the protective covers away from two coupled main bodies, in a direction parallel to the front faces, causes removal of the membranes.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 13, 2022Publication date: September 29, 2022Inventors: Jeremy Henry Nichols, Blair D. Plackner, Loi T. Truong, Randall Scott Williams

Patent number: 7492386Abstract: A method and apparatus for managing a display during a teleconference between a primary participant and one or more secondary participants is described herein. According to the present invention, a primary image corresponding to the primary participant and a subset of secondary images that correspond to secondary participants are displayed on first and second sections of the display, respectively. By scrolling through the secondary images during the teleconference, different subsets of the secondary images may be displayed. Another exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises superimposing an image over another image. By adjusting the opacity of at least one of the images, the user may view and/or access both images during the teleconference. According to another exemplary embodiment, a user may interchange the primary image with a selected one of the secondary images, responsive to user input, to focus on the selected image.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 2004Date of Patent: February 17, 2009Assignee: Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications ABInventors: Paul Henry Nichols, Myra Louise Rice, Carey Lloyd Moulton

Patent number: 7483692Abstract: A method of predicting user input to a mobile terminal is presented. The mobile terminal creates a raw user input data record comprised of input to the mobile terminal. A contextual data record is appended to the raw user input data record and both are stored. Another process processes the records contained in the raw user input database to identify repetitive patterns of user input. Identified patterns are stored in a recognized input pattern database. The mobile terminal then monitors current input and compares it to the repetitive patterns stored in the recognized input pattern database. Upon matching the current input to a repetitive pattern within a specified tolerance, the mobile terminal prompts the user to allow the mobile terminal to complete the process of inputting the data.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2005Date of Patent: January 27, 2009Assignee: Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications ABInventors: Robert A.
