  • Patent number: 5490348
Abstract: A bobber is constructed of a float and a stem. The cross section of the stem is just less than the cross section of a bore in the float. The stem has a slot in the stem body along the center line of the stem. The stem also has a channel in the body of the stem which extends radially into the stem body to just beyond the stem center line and which extends vertically from the stem slot bottom to the stem in-water end. A fishing line can be removably placed into the stem slot so that the fishing line hook end hangs vertically in the stem channel. The stem also has a bulge in the stem body so that the stem can be removably wedged into the float bore with the stem slot mouth in the float bore and the stem slot bottom below the keel end of the float. Thus the fishing line is attached to the bobber but is free to slip. When the bobber is in water the center lines of the float, the float bore, and the stem all coincide.

  • Patent number: 4736541
Abstract: A trolley assembly for use upon a line which is anchored in the water for retrieving a fishing net. The trolley assembly includes a weighted body member having a pair of trolley arms extending therefrom. The trolley arms are disposed at an angle to one another and are integrally associated with the body member to define a generally V-shaped assembly. The body member includes a loop disposed on a line bisecting the angle between the trolley arms for affixing a net securing line opposite the trolley arms. The trolley assembly also includes a pair of trolley wheels adapted to ride on the anchored line. One of the trolley wheels is mounted for wheel-rolling movement on each of the trolley arms. The trolley wheels are disposed in spaced relation to the body member. With these features of construction, one end of the fishing net can be secured to the trolley assembly with the net securing line and the other end of the fishing net can be controlled by a fishing line secured thereto.

  • Patent number: 4728001
Abstract: A beverage container having a drinking straw packaged with a beverage therein. The beverage container comprises a hollow container having a top end and a bottom end joined by a side wall. The top end has a normally sealed pour opening which is adapted to be opened upon demand for access to the beverage in the hollow container. The hollow container is filled with the beverage to a level near the top end thereof. The beverage container also includes a drinking straw disposed in the hollow container. The drinking straw is defined by a tube having an open drinking passage extending completely therethrough and is initially bent intermediate opposing ends thereof into a generally circular configuration substantially disposed in a plane with the opposing ends in generally adjacent relation. The drinking straw floats on the beverage near the top end of the hollow container.
