  • Publication number: 20230401269
Abstract: A level of busyness of a public place may be represented using content specific to the public place. Images, video, audio, or other content captured at the public place is correlated with busyness information for the public place at the time of capture. Representative content is selected and stored based on a number of factors such as to minimize resources in storing and transmitting the content. The selected representative content may be provided in response to a user request for information related to the public place, such that the user receives an accurate portrayal of how the public place would look, sound, and/or feel at a given time.

  • Patent number: 11037344
Abstract: A system and method for user content presentation, including: receiving, in association with a request to establish a graph relationship between a first account and a second account, a strength of relationship from the first account to the second account, the strength of relationship selected based on input from a user of the first account; selecting, by a computer processor, a delivery attribute associated with the second account based on the strength of relationship, where the delivery attribute is positively correlated with a measure of content authored by the second account to be provided to the first account; selecting content authored by the second account for inclusion in a stream of the first account based on the delivery attribute; and providing the stream of the first account for display on a client computing device.

  • Patent number: 8381514
Abstract: An emissions system for reducing nitrogen oxides in engine exhaust includes an emissions catalyst having an inlet adapted to receive an exhaust from the engine. A fuel tank is adapted to provide fuel for combustion within the engine. A first injector is operable to inject fuel into the exhaust upstream of the catalyst. A second injector is operable to inject supplemental reductant from a supplemental reductant tank into the exhaust upstream of the catalyst. A controller is operable to control the first and second injectors and vary the supply of fuel and supplemental reductant into the exhaust to reduce nitrogen oxides within the exhaust.

  • Publication number: 20050065267
Abstract: Thermoplastic polymers, rubbery polymeric components and reinforcing fillers are mixed and heated to a range of 380° F. to 440° F. The resulting mixture is then fed into a Banbury mixer, with the resulting mixture fed into a diverter feeding two molds. The velocity of the piston of each mold being filled is controlled to thereby control the density of the molded product along its length. As each mold is filled, it is deposited in a cool water bath (50° F.-60° F.) while the next mold is being filled. The molds are sequentially transferred to an air cooling rack to complete the process. A texture, generally comprising indentations perpendicular to the longitudinal axis on the molded object, provides a frictional surface between the railway crosstie and the ballast beneath the crosstie.
