  • Patent number: 5921463
Abstract: A folder for holding objects therein having two pockets. An expandable bottom bellows adjoins front and back panels along their respective bottom edges. A divider panel is disposed within the folder between the front and back panels separating the folder into two pockets. A pair of expandable side bellows permitting along with the bottom bellows expansion of the folder to accept objects within the pockets. The divider panel is initially attached to the front panel along their respective top edges. The divider is folded within the folder and adhered to the bottom bellows along its bottom edge. The joint between the front panel and divider panel is then broken along their top edges allowing the divider panel to float freely between the front and back panels.

  • Patent number: 5135158
Abstract: The present invention is an improved reclosable dispensing carton, particularly adapted for dispensing one or more flavors or kinds of small candy items. The generally tubular carton is rectangular, having front and rear walls, opposed side walls foldably attached to the front and rear walls, a closed bottom end and a reclosable top dispensing end. The dispensing end comprises a plurality of top closure flaps that are in close parallel relationship when the carton is fully closed. The top closure flaps include an inside major flap having stripped out or relieved areas along its free edge and an outside major flap foldably connected to the front wall of the carton and incorporating foldably connected, manipulable lift away cover tabs adapted to overly the relieved areas when the carton is closed. The lift tabs are provided with deflectable locks for locking and relocking the carton closed after it is initially opened.

  • Patent number: 5056708
Abstract: An improved reclosable dispensing carton is provided. The carton includes a dispensing end having a plurality of flaps which, when the carton is closed, are in parallel planes. The flaps include major inside and outside flaps and a pair of slide slidably positioned therebetween. A removable security tab is provided on the major outside flap and is removably affixed to both slide flaps prior to opening the carton.

  • Patent number: 4712688
Abstract: A double breakapart carton, and the blank for forming the same, include a plurality of sides having end flaps hingedly attached on their ends. The end flaps are designed to be overlapped when folded in the closed position to seal off both ends of the container. A perforated line is located midway between the top and bottom ends of the container. The perforated line extends across all the sides of the container except one. The side without the perforated line includes two partial panels which are spaced apart and which have intermediate ends facing each other. The carton includes intermediate closure flaps hingedly attached to these intermediate ends. The intermediate closure flaps, when folded inwardly, close off the container intermediate of its ends. The carton can be separated along the perforated line forming two identical containers having a sealed end and an end closeable by the intermediate closure flaps.

  • Patent number: 4326633
Abstract: A container preferably supporting a sealed beam headlight in which a pair of opposite flaps at each end are each provided with a short flap extending partially across each of the original flaps and secured thereto. The short adhesive flaps in turn have a longer flap attached thereto wherein the sum of the lengths of the longer flap and the short adhesive flap is greater than that of the first flap so that when the first flap is folded into closed position, the additional flap connected to the adhesive flap necessarily moves down into a diagonal relationship between the closing flap and the inside of the side wall. This structure is repeated on both sides at both ends. The diagonal flaps cushion the headlight. Each of the diagonal flaps in turn has a further flap which in the closed condition of the container extends along the inside of the side wall.

  • Patent number: 4141485
Abstract: An improved slide top carton, and a one-piece blank for forming it, for dispensing products through a face therein having inner and outer overlapping members closing said face, said members having communicating orifices for dispensing the carton contents therethrough, blocking means movably attached to said carton and interposed between said inner and outer members for controlling communication between said orifices, and sealing means removably attached to at least one of said overlapping members to block communication between the orifices without regard to the position of the blocking means.

  • Patent number: 3961706
Abstract: A combined packer and display carton comprises a multi-sided tuck end carton having a bottom closure and a tuck flap hinged to the top of the front panel. The tuck flap is connected to the adjoining side walls by triangular tabs including diagonally extending fold lines to web connect the side walls to the top panel. A weakened line of separation extends from the center of the side walls and across the front panel. When separated along this weakened line, and removing the carton contents, the upper portion above the weakened line of separation can be folded back to line the inner surfaces of the side walls and rear wall with a printed display surface to provide a display when the carton contents are replaced.
