  • Patent number: 9221355
Abstract: A method and display for displaying the operating range of an electric drive vehicle and a display for carrying out same are provided. The battery energy in a vehicle is detected, and a maximum operating range of the vehicle is determined therefrom. At least one battery service station is selected as destination point for determining the maximum operating range. Based on a starting point, a reachability threshold is determined. If exceeded, the vehicle will be unable to reach the destination point with the current battery energy available, wherein said reachability threshold is displayed as an operating range in a map illustration. During the determination of the reachability threshold, the current location is used as the starting point and the current battery energy of the vehicle is used, both of which are updated at pre-defined intervals while the vehicle is moving.

  • Publication number: 20100290368
Abstract: A half-duplex RFID transponder with an integrated three-dimensional front-end circuit which includes three LC resonant circuits arranged in a three-dimensional configuration. Each LC resonant circuit is coupled to a different one of three storage capacitors which are charged during a capacitor charging phase by energy in an RF signal received by the associated LC resonant circuit. The front-end circuit includes three receiver channels and each receiver channel is associated to a different one of the three LC resonant circuits. A channel selector is adapted to detect, which one of the three storage capacitors is first charged to a threshold voltage, to select the receiver channel associated to the LC resonant circuit which is coupled to the storage capacitor which is first charged and to deactivate the two other receiver channels.

  • Publication number: 20090211948
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and also a device for switching over a cracking furnace between production mode and decoking mode, wherein a first shut-off member (TLV), which is arranged in the transfer line and equipped with a first actuating drive, and a second shut-off member (EGV), which is arranged in the decoking line and equipped with a second actuating drive, are actuated simultaneously and wherein the differential pressure DP across the shut-off member TLV is continuously measured and monitored. The actuation of the shut-off members TLV and EGV is carried out in an automated manner, wherein TLV is moved monotonously between its end positions, while the second actuating drive is triggered by the actuating signal of a control means and EGV is as a result actuated in such a way that DP is at all times approximated to a predefined target value (DP target).
