  • Patent number: 9833805
Abstract: In a method for operating a surface treatment installation, overspray produced in a coating booth is taken up by an air stream and carried to one or more one-way filter modules, in which overspray is separated. Once a limit loading with overspray is reached, a one-way filter module is exchanged for an empty one-way filter module. Depending on the nature and characteristics of the overspray, the one or more one-way filter module(s) may be chosen from a set of different one-way filter modules. A set of filter modules for use in a surface treatment installation is provided having various filter modules formed as exchangeable one-way structural units with a module housing and a filter unit. The module housings of the various filter modules have the same-connection module inlets and the same-connection module outlets and at least the filter units of two different filter modules are formed differently.

  • Publication number: 20170216868
Abstract: A changing device for coating media having a plurality of supply units each having at least one inlet connection, which can be connected to a reservoir for the medium, and an outlet connection, between which a flow channel extends. At least one coupling unit is present which has an input connection and an output connection, which can be connected to an application device, between which input connection and which output connection a through-channel (44) extends. The coupling unit is moveable relative to the supply units by a positioning device. The input connection can be coupled fluid-tight to the outlet connection of a supply unit. A valve device is present, in which each supply unit includes a valve unit which releases the flow channel in a released configuration and closes in a closed configuration and is controllable by a control signal in the released configuration.

  • Patent number: 9709977
Abstract: A control process for a conveyor system for conveying pallets or other objects comprises at least two mutually separate free-moving, i.e. not rail-mounted, conveyor units. Of the at least two conveyor units, a first conveyor unit is assigned a superordinate status and a second conveyor unit is assigned a subordinate status. The second conveyor unit therefore follows the first conveyor unit. To this end, the second conveyor unit detects a shift in the mutual relative position of the two conveyor units with the aid of a sensor and modifies its driving parameters depending on the shift in position detected by the sensor.

  • Patent number: 9410295
Abstract: A rail system for an in-floor electric conveyer system having a main track with at least two fixed parallel rails, at least two secondary tracks which enclose an angle and each have fixed rails, and a switch arranged between the main track and the secondary tracks. Each rail of the main track is assigned a moveable rail section connected to the corresponding rail of the main track via a joint. Each joint has at least one end face of the rail of the main track embodied as part of a rotational face about the axis of a pivot pin, at least one end face, embodied in a complementary fashion thereto, of the assigned movable rail section and at least one transition body, which overlaps the fixed rail and the movable rail section and is connected in one end region to the fixed rail, and in the other end region to the movable rail section in an articulated fashion.

  • Publication number: 20160193616
Abstract: A nozzle head for a rotary atomiser for applying a coating material to an object includes a rotary bell, which is rotatable about an axis of rotation and has a breakaway edge and a discharge surface to which the coating material can be supplied in such a way that the coating material is spun off from the breakaway edge of the rotary bell. Coating material can be supplied to the discharge surface via a flow path. The flow path is divided in a delivery region into sub-paths, each having a delivery opening which is arranged eccentrically to the axis of rotation of the rotary bell and from which the coating material, which arrives from there at the discharge surface, can be delivered. A rotary atomiser having a nozzle head of this type is also described.

  • Patent number: 9073079
Abstract: A method and device for separating overspray from the cabin exhaust air of coating systems which is laden with overspray, wherein the overspray is taken up by an air flow and conveyed to an electrostatically operating separating device. There, the bulk at least of the solids is separated from the overspray at a separating area of at least one separating surface. A cohesive material web is used as a separating agent, which is disposed at least partly along the separating area of the at least one separating surface and during operation of the separating device is electrically conductive at least in the separating area of the at least one separating surface.

  • Patent number: 6926511
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary press with anti-rotation secured shafts and exchangeable punches attached thereto. The rotary press comprises a punch turn which is universally ensured with the use of anti-rotation secured punch shafts, meaning, not only with rotation-symmetrical but also with roll-guided punches, is solved in such a way that the exchangeable punch is executed in a rotational manner, where a circumferential recess in the stem of the punch is envisaged, into which a component such as a spring thrust piece engages for the purpose of fixation, and that the shell surface of the exchangeable punch indicates a zone which interacts with a zone of the external component, either force-locking or positive locking, in such a way that the punch receives a turning movement at a defined point of the pitch circle of the punch circumference.

  • Publication number: 20050007223
Abstract: This is an electrical switching method and apparatus wherein a magnetic reed switch is activated by means of a disc magnet moving into and out of the magnetic field of the magnetic reed switch. The motion of the disc magnet is caused by gravity, a change in the orientation of a device supporting the disc magnet, a flow of fluid against the disc magnet, an impact affecting the disc magnet, vibration, fluid level changes, or other forces causing the disc magnet to roll or otherwise change its position with respect to the magnetic reed switch. Variations include means by which paraplegics and other invalids can signal for assistance or communicate by blowing breath against disc magnets and where a bank of disc magnet devices can control a diversity of devices such as bed controls, televisions, telephones, etc.
