  • Publication number: 20090173586
Abstract: The present invention concerns a safety brake (1) that is hydraulically/pneumatically actuated. The booster system (7) necessary for this purpose is composed of a hydraulically driven piston-cylinder system (8) and a modulatable, motorically driven hydraulic system arranged in parallel therewith.

  • Patent number: 7344009
Abstract: In a hydraulic circuit for controlling a clutch/brake system having a clutch that is disposed separately from the brake in a main drive of a mechanical press, wherein the brake is spring-loaded in a direction opposite to an engagement direction of the clutch, a piston/cylinder unit is provided that moves the clutch and the brake into a coupling position or a braking position, respectively. A pressure line connects a press safety valve to the piston/cylinder unit for generating torque at the clutch. A bidirectionally passable hydraulic connection connects a metering piston unit to the piston/cylinder unit in parallel to the press safety valve.

  • Patent number: 5384323
Abstract: The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing as the active ingredient a compound of formula I: ##STR1## wherein R is OH or COOH,or one of its pharmacologically acceptable salts, in the form of an inclusion in pregelatinized starch, which can contain at least one other adjunct.

  • Patent number: 4471420
Abstract: In a protective circuit for the thyristors of an inverter circuit in a rail-bound vehicle, RC-R members are connected in parallel with the individual thyristors in order to prevent undue reverse voltages and a fuse is provided to cut off excess currents. In order to reduce the dimensions of the thyristors the series connection of a resistor and a decoupling blocking diode is connected in parallel with each thyristor. The respective center points of these components are connected, via a breakdown diode, with the control grid of the respective thyristor, so that the secondary voltage of the inverter circuit is reduced when there is a malfunction due to excess reverse voltage and the inverter circuit is disconnected from the rail-road mains.

  • Patent number: 4302870
Abstract: An indexable revolving turret has a rotary tool carrier which is movable to a plurality of angularly spaced indexed positions, and an indexing shaft which is connected with the tool carrier for indexing the same to the respective ones of these positions. Cooperating spur gears are provided on the tool carrier and on the housing and become disengaged preliminarily to indexing of the tool carrier. A control shaft is driven by a drive so as to be rotated by the same and transmits motion to a Maltese-cross drive, an input member of which is mounted on and rotatable with the control shaft. The indexing shaft can be moved axially of itself, thereby moving the tool carrier into and out of indexing position, and for this purpose a cam drum is mounted on the control shaft and the cam follower slides in a cam groove of the cam drum and is connected with the indexing shaft so as to move the same into and out of an indexing position, depending upon the angular position of the cam drum.

  • Patent number: 4066957
Abstract: A control arrangement for a converter of the type including a direct current motor driving a three-phase generator with at least one exciter coil of the generator and/or of the motor being fed from the three-phase mains of the generator via a series connected transformer and a rectifier. At least one secondary winding of the transformer is connected in a closed series circuit which further includes a controlled thyristor, and two other secondary windings of the transformer which other windings are connected in parallel. In dependence on the parameter of the converter to be regulated, the control current of the thyristor is varied to provide a two-point regulation of the saturation current for the transformer flowing through the closed series circuit.
