The notification server (6) registers e.g. the calling line identifier of the first terminal (1) and calls, after the second terminal (4) has become accessible, the second terminal (4), transmitting an artificial calling line identifier having the value of the calling line identifier of the first terminal, registered by the notification server. The call to the second terminal (4) is aborted as soon as the identifier has been transmitted to the second terminal.
