Abstract: A combined earth-star sensor system (1) for three-axis attitude determination of satellites in space comprises separate apertures with different directions of observation and common image pickup devices (4) for the earth sensor and the star sensor. A common optical arrangement (2) for earth observation and start observation, and a deflection mirror (3) for derivation of the laterally entering light from the earth, to the common optical arrangement (2) may be provided. In one focal plane there is a focal plane sensor with an array of image pickup devices (4) with the integration time being controllable. An evaluation unit determines the orbit and the attitude of the space vehicle from the attitude and movement of the stars and of the rim of the earth in the focal plane.

Abstract: In this optical imaging system the same object section is imaged by optical means on three spatially separate image planes. Surface sensors A, B, C of identical width which in turn comprise optoelectronic sensor elements arranged in the manner of a matrix are arranged in the three image planes at a distance from one another in parallel rows and are offset relative to one another from one row to the other. The three grids of surface sensors which are accordingly formed are offset relative to one another from one image plane to the other in such a way that the object section is detected without gaps by means of the surface sensors A, B and C during optical superposition. Thus, large surface area pictures with high resolution can be taken with the use of conventional surface sensors, e.g. of the CCD type. Abstract: The present invention relates to an insulated one-piece roof for use over heatable rooms comprising at least three layers, the first layer being a solid or other load-bearing construction, the second layer being an insulating board and the third layer being a prepared roofing, said one-piece roof further characterized in that the characteristics value .mu..multidot.s where .mu. is the diffusion resistance index and s is the layer thickness of the constituent material of the vertically adjacent layers, decreases outwardly, said prepared roofing being firmly joined to the underlying insulating board and having a characteristic value .mu..multidot.s of less than 4 m.
