Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for the computer-implemented evaluation of electronic business processes using a computer system. In order to check the business process-relevant data contained in a business process (GP) received by the computer system, a static examination of data on the basis of character recognition is carried out in a first step and hypotheses on the content of every examined date are established. In a second step, a dynamic examination of the established hypotheses is carried out. According to the invention, a synchronization of the electronically recognized data contents with client- and/or material-specific data contained in a data base (200) is performed.
