Abstract: A photographic film packaging unit (1) which is provided with a lens (2) and which comprises at least one device for making an exposure, and which comprises a light-tight film housing on which the taking lens (2) is mounted, a film cartridge (10) which is enclosed in the light-tight film housing and which contains an empty spool (13), and a rolled up film (12), one end of which is attached to the spool core of the empty spool (13), wherein the film packaging unit (1) contains a motive spring (14) which is tensioned before being put into operation and which acts on the empty film cartridge (10) so that after each exposure the motive spring is released to such an extent that the film (12) is wound into the film cartridge by one frame and the shutter is made ready for release again, is distinguished by its particular convenience of operation.

Abstract: A camera for roll film which can be wound into a film cassette has a central subassembly forming a light-tight inner body in which a film cassette chamber which receives the film cassette is contained and in which a film guidance device is contained, and has an outer body which surrounds the central subassembly, wherein the film cassette chamber of the central subassembly can be closed by a removable cassette chamber cover which is accessible through an opening in the outer body.

Abstract: A spool for strip-form recording substrates, in particular for photographic films, with a slit arranged in the spool core and means arranged therein for fixing the strip end inserted into the slit, and with transitional surfaces which are rounded in the approximate shape of a cylinder surface on the inlet side between the axially running upper and lower slit surfaces and the external surfaces of the spool core, which are arranged in kink-free manner between the adjacent surfaces of the spool core and each form an arc portion of more than 90.degree. in cross section, the radius thereof being at least one third of the radius of the spool core.

Abstract: In a process for the manufacture of film cartridges which have a substantially cyclindrical wall, a film opening extending along a generating line of the cylinder and caps at the ends, one plate per cartridge is separated from a flat strip of material to form the cartridge wall, which strip of material contains the plates for several cartridges and has a width corresponding to the circumference of a cartridge wall, and the said strip of material is fitted continuously with a sealing material along at least one of the edges for the film opening before the plates are separated, the said sealing material being delivered to the strip of material in the form of endless band of sealing strips which are bonded to the strip of material as they pass through a glueing station.

Abstract: Apparatus for the exposure and development of photographic images in a photographic monosheet material having two frame members. The first frame member holds the monosheet with the photosensitive side sealed against light and moisture and the opposite side facing an opening. The second frame member is hinged on the first member. Means are provided for sealing the second member in a closed position on said first member and means are provided for applying a processing liquid to the monosheet material while the frame members are closed together.

Abstract: In a process and an apparatus for the exposure and development of photographic images according to the dye diffusion process a monosheet material is used, the laminated structure of which is divided by a layer which is impermeable to light but permeable to moisture into a photosensitive side of the sheet for image-wise exposure and a non-photosensitive side for observation and supplying the activator or developer solution. The said monosheet material is exposed image-wise in the dark and the photosensitive side then sealed in a light and moisture proof manner in a development apparatus in which the non-photosensitive side of the monosheet lies open and is exposed to an activator in daylight so that the image formation takes place visibly. Once the image quality has been achieved the development is stopped by removing the activator and by subsequent rinsing. The monosheet is dried in a conventional manner but only on one side.

Abstract: The invention relates to a film spool with double hooks for fastening the perforated end of a film in the slot of a film spool, whereby a bar is positioned in the slot, on said bar are provided at least two pairs of hooks having hooking directions which are displaced in pairs by 180.degree. and are arranged above and below the central bar and holding down devices are provided in the slot above and below the central bar.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and to a processing band for processing a sheet or strip of photographic material (1) which has been image exposed and is brought into surface contact, in the presence of water, with a carrier (2) which is impregnated with the required processing chemicals. The photographic material (1) which has been image exposed is repeatedly moved along a closed path and brought into surface contact with the processing band (2) along a specified portion of said path in the presence of water, the processing band (2) having at least wo sections with different processing functions (A, B, C . . . ) arranged one behind the other, with which every portion of the photographic material (1) comes successively into contact.

Abstract: A film cassette for multi-exposure film strips has a body part with an inner compartment for a film strip and at least one opening for passage of the film strip therethrough between an initial position before exposure and a final position after exposure, and elements for preventing unintentional withdrawal of the film strip from the body part in at least one of these positions, the preventing elements arranged between the body part and the film strip. The preventing elements can be arranged so that they prevent unintentional withdrawal of the film strip in both positions. The preventing elements include a recess provided in one of the film strip and the body part, and a projection provided in the other of the film strip and the body part and engageable in the recess.

Abstract: The invention relates to a flat lightproof flexible film cassette for at least two photosensitive strip films suitable for taking several pictures, in which the strip films lie with their longitudinal edges one above the other and are arranged in the film cassette in such a way that after a first film strip has been exposed, the cassette is removed from the camera and, after rotation parallel to one of its axes (L, Q, V) may be re-inserted for exposing the next strip.

Abstract: The invention relates to a film cassette for a photosensitive film consisting of a light-proof, flat flexible case substantially equal in length to the strip of film and a cassette opening which extends perpendicularly of the length of the case and which is provided with light-sealing means whereby the top part and the bottom part of the cassette being fixedly interconnected solely in the vicinity of the cassette opening and the other three edges are displaceable relative to one another in light proof labyrinths, even if the case is bent, the strip of film retains its freedom of movement.

Abstract: The invention relates to a photographic film unit with integral structure consisting of an image sheet and a cover sheet which is substantially in register with the image sheet and firmly attached to it, whereby the attachment between the sheets is produced by a combination of individual masking strips and lateral spacer strips and said combination of multi-part mask is composed of a masking folding sheet associated with the container for photographic developer material and another associated with the trap and a separate lateral masking strip for each side.

Abstract: The invention relates to a photographic film unit with a picture sheet and a covering sheet which are joined together by means of an interposed mask, and a container for photographic developer material is located at the front end and a trap for collecting excess developer material is located at the rear end of the picture unit and whereby air guiding channels connect the trap compartment with the container compartment to conduct the surplus air or also developer past towards the empty developer container.
