  • Patent number: 11927270
Abstract: A diaphragm poppet valve has a control diaphragm which is resilient in shape and separates a control chamber from a working chamber. The control diaphragm is designed as a single piece on the side thereof facing the control chamber or the working chamber of the diaphragm poppet valve with a hollow portion and on the side thereof facing the working chamber with a diaphragm valve seat. The interior of the hollow portion issues into the diaphragm valve seat and the hollow portion is connected to a fluid channel in the diaphragm poppet valve. The diaphragm poppet valve is easy to clean because the interior of the hollow projection and the diaphragm valve seat formed by the control diaphragm can easily be flushed.

  • Patent number: 11609079
Abstract: A length measuring device includes a carrier with a scale which extends longitudinally in a measuring direction. A scanning carriage for scanning a measuring graduation of the scale is longitudinally guided in the measuring direction, and, via a coupling, is rigidly coupled to a driver in the measuring direction and transversely thereto coupled to it in a flexible manner. The coupling includes a coupling element arranged between a first coupling point on the scanning carriage and a second coupling point on the driver. At the second coupling point, the coupling element is attached via a solid-body joint that is designed to carry the coupling element so as to be freely rotatable in relation to the driver about an axis of rotation which runs perpendicularly to a plane of the measuring graduation. The coupling element has a lower density than steel and/or a higher modulus of elasticity than steel.

  • Publication number: 20220048547
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a valve assembly and a method for controlling the air suspension level of a rail vehicle. A system is provided, which is constructionally simple to build and easy to parameterise, for controlling the air suspension level of a rail vehicle. The object of the disclosure is achieved by a valve assembly for controlling the air suspension level of a rail vehicle, comprising a proportional directional valve, a sensor means for continuously detecting a distance variable representing the distance of a carriage body from a chassis or bogie of the rail vehicle, and a digital control device, wherein the control device is designed to be programmable for determining a control deviation based on the actual distance detected by the sensor means and a comparison with a predefinable target distance, and for continuously generating control variables as a linear function of the determined control deviation and the carriage body travelling speed.

  • Patent number: 10393491
Abstract: A length-measuring device for measuring a relative position of two objects includes a hollow section member in which a tensioned scale tape extends. A mounting block is disposed at each end of the scale tape. An adjuster is configured to position a mounting block on the hollow section member in a first installed condition such that the mounting block is displaceable in the longitudinal direction. The adjuster is movably mounted on the hollow section member and capable of being brought from a first to a second position. The mounting block is in the first installed condition when the adjuster is in the first position. The mounting block is movable to a second installed condition by moving the adjuster to the second position. In the second installed condition, the mounting block is fixed in a nominal position defined by the adjuster on the hollow section member.

  • Patent number: 9725145
Abstract: Diving equipment includes a compressed air bottle connected to a breathing apparatus and an inflatable jacket via which buoyancy is balanced by the jacket being connected to the compressed air bottle to be inflated or to an outlet to be deflated. A monitoring device is activated via a control valve as a function of surrounding water pressure and has a time monitoring unit which, after the expiry of a defined time and in the absence of breathing activity in the breathing apparatus, changes to emergency operation and activates an emergency valve via a control line connecting the jacket to the compressed air bottle to force inflation of the jacket. Actuation of at least one regulating valve is influenced during a dive by the monitoring device and/or the control valve. In manual activation, the jacket is inflated via the inflation valve, and the compressed air is bled via the outlet valve.

  • Patent number: 9688424
Abstract: A filling system for filling powder into a target container to be sealed has a metering device for metering a partial quantity of the powder to be filled in. A compaction element for the powder is arranged below the metering device. The compaction element can be lowered from above into the target container. The compaction element is a shaking element with a shaking drive. During filling of the target container with the powder, the shaking element at least partially projects from above into the target container. The shaking element has a bottom edge provided with a shaking projection, wherein the shaking projection, beginning at the bottom edge, extends downwardly. During filling of the target container with the powder, only the shaking projection of the shaking element projects from above into the target container and the shaking element as a whole does not contact the target container.
