Abstract: A lubricating arrangement for an I.C. engine in which at least one lubricating pump for engine lubrication is activated by a battery-fed electric motor, independent of the I.C. engine, which supplies a preset oil quantity which is unrelated to the rpms of the I.C. engine. As this lubricating pump is driven by a battery-fed electric motor which runs up within a fraction of a second, the I.C. engine is instantly under pressure with a full quantity of lubricating oil.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a connecting rod for reciprocating piston engines, especially axial cylinder-type reciprocating piston engines, with the connecting rod including a tubular shaft having hollow spherical shells mounted at the ends thereof. The tubular shaft and the hollow spherical shells are constructed from a sheet metal-like material and are joined to form a one-piece connecting rod body by way of welding joints. A lubricating tube is arranged within the tubular shaft and extends between the spherical shells so as to equalize the lubricant between surfaces of the hollow spherical shells.

Abstract: The fan housing has a generally circular outer peripheral contour and is provided with a plurality of substantially identical equally spaced radial projections and has at each axial end of the housing a boundary surface and including a tubular part extending in the axial direction of the fan housing intermediate the two aforementioned boundary surfaces. A drive motor is centrally mounted by radial spokes at one axial end of the fan. A fan wheel driven by the motor at least partly surrounds the motor and is provided with fan blades accommodated in an annular flow channel defined intermediate the tubular part of the fan housing and the drive motor. The fan blades extend substantially all the way to the other axial end of the tubular part of the fan housing. The tubular part at its middle has a circular interior cross-section closely surrounding the outer peripheral boundary surface of the fan wheel.
