  • Patent number: 7674155
Abstract: A process for artificially ageing blocks, in particular concrete blocks, vitrified bricks and natural stones, provides that the blocks are applied to an underlying surface. Essentially freely movable distressing bodies are applied to the surface to be worked of the blocks. The blocks and the distressing bodies are brought into movement in relation to one another by a vibrating motion of the underlying surface in such a way that the distressing bodies act on the surface and the adjoining, exposed edges of the blocks.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 2, 2008
Date of Patent: March 9, 2010
Assignee: Baustoffwerke Gebhart & Sohne GmbH & Co. KG
Inventors: Hans Gebhart, Martin Rothdach, Thomas Riedle, Hermann Sauter

  • Publication number: 20080197644
Abstract: A device for lifting a layer of stones, particularly of artificially aged cast concrete stones, clinker bricks or natural stones, comprises a vacuum device with a suction opening for drawing up the stones. The suction opening (4) obtains, by means of changeable template elements (5), a pattern consisting of closed and open suction areas (6,7). The created pattern is essentially adapted to the respective layer of stones (1) to be lifted, and concentrates the suction power of the vacuum device, in essence, onto the upper surfaces of the stones.

  • Patent number: 7334207
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a plurality of input cells, two or more local tie up cells, and two or more local tie down cells. The plurality of input cells may be configured to provide (i) one or more gate voltage signals and (ii) one or more supply voltage signals. The two or more local tie up cells may be configured to provide electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection to one or more first standard cells. Each of the local tie up cells may be coupled to (i) the one or more first standard cells and (ii) each of the gate voltage signals. The two or more local tie down cells may be configured to provide ESD protection to one or more second standard cells. Each of the local tie down cells may be coupled to (i) the one or more second standard cells and (ii) each of the supply voltage signals.

  • Patent number: 7128639
Abstract: A process for the artificial aging of stones, particularly concrete blocks, clinker blocks and natural stones, provides for the stones to be applied to a support. Impact units that move essentially freely are applied to the surface of the stones that is to be processed. The stones and the impact units are set in motion in relation to each other by vibration of the support in such a way that the impact units act on the surface and the adjacent, exposed edges of the stones.

  • Publication number: 20060080938
Abstract: An apparatus for artificially ageing blocks, in particular concrete blocks, vitrified bricks and natural stones, has an underlying surface, on which the blocks can be placed in such a way that the surface to be worked and the adjoining edges are exposed. Provided here are essentially freely movable distressing bodies for applying to the surface to be worked and the adjoining edges. Also provided is a vibration device, to set the blocks and the distressing bodies in motion in relation to one another in such a way that the distressing bodies act on the surface and the exposed edges of the blocks. A limiting device restricts the lateral or horizontal movement of the distressing bodies essentially to the surface of the blocks. Further provided is an extraction device which extracts dust and/or fragments during the distressing action of the distressing bodies, the extraction device having a suction region which at least almost encloses the surface of the blocks to be worked.
