  • Patent number: 4788744
Abstract: A stop is disclosed which can be mounted without a great work effort, permits setting in any position and simple adjustment, and whose firm seating is guaranteed. The stop is displaceable in a guide rail having a C-shaped cross section and is preferably served to limit the travel of a sliding piece connected to the window pane of a motor vehicle. It is designed as a spring clip, it can be pushed into the rail having a C-shaped cross section, it can be displaced and fixed in same, and it absorbs a high impact force. The spring clip is bent in a wave-shaped pattern and has claws for fixation inside the said rail having a C-shaped cross section.

  • Patent number: 4625459
Abstract: A window pane for motor vehicles is fastened to the flange of a window frame by means of a retaining member attached to said window pane through cementing, bonding, or the like. The retaining member is also clamped into a recess provided on the window frame by way of a projecting portion formed on a locking member. To improve retention of the retaining member on the window frame and to add extra stability and rigidity, the retaining member is provided with a recess for a second projecting portion formed on the locking member, and the second projecting member conforms to the contours of the retaining member on the side facing the retaining member.

  • Patent number: 4581851
Abstract: A window arrangement including a vertically adjustable window which is disposed flush with the adjacent body panels providing simplified manufacture and assembly and improved retention of the window sealing and guide strip in the window frame. For this purpose, the window sealing strip and the window guide strip are in the form of separate elongate elastic members. Each elongate elastic member is of a cross-sectional configuration that includes an essentially triangular hollow portion, one side of which being adapted for insertion into a channel of the window frame so as to be retained therein by compression.

  • Patent number: 4567691
Abstract: In an arrangement for a vertically adjustable window pane which is disposed flush with the adjacent body panels, the guide means for the window pane are to be inserted into the guide tracks laterally from the outboard side of the vehicle. This objective is being achieved in that the guide means on the rearward edge of the window pane is disposed in a forwardly pointing direction and is adapted to engage into a rearwardly facing opening of an elongate guide member, and in that the projecting guide portions of the guide means on the forward edge of the window pane are adapted for insertion substantially transversely of the window pane into the associated guide track through openings provided therein and are guided within the guide track in all directions.
