    Abstract: A crate module which includes a quadrilateral tray portion with a load carrying side and an opposing side. The tray portion is delimited by four successively connected peripheral edges and has form fitting elements. The crate module also includes four side panels each of which have a proximal end, from which the side panel is pivotably connected to a respective peripheral edge, and a distal end having a counterpart form fitting element which is configured to cooperate with a corresponding form fitting element of the tray portion of a similar logistics crate in a superposed configuration. At least one of the side panels is pivotably connected to the respective peripheral edge on said opposing side of the tray portion.

    Abstract: A novel system for the transport of an array of a plurality of self-supporting containers for liquids is provided. The system includes a cell tray, which is designed for a particular type of containers and has a load carrying surface for receiving bottom portions of said particular containers. The undersurface of the cell tray is on the reverse side to the load carrying surface and is shaped to receive top portions of similar containers of another cell tray beneath the undersurface. The cell tray also has a quadrilateral peripheral edge, which defines a periphery and surrounds the load carrying surface and the undersurface. The system also includes an insert, which features a peripheral edge, which fits within the periphery of the edge of the cell tray. The insert is configured to be removably inserted onto the load carrying surface or to the undersurface of the cell tray.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a novel cell tray for transporting a plurality of containers in a diagonal loading pattern and a method for handling containers. The cell tray includes a rectangular frame and a loading surface which is defined by the frame and is configured to support container bottoms in a number of bottle positions such that a number of bottle positions is arranged to accommodate a different number of containers on the tray in a loading pattern. The number of bottle positions is at least twice as large as the number of containers in the loading pattern. The bottle positions are also arranged in a matrix-like pattern, whereby a diagonal pattern can be loaded onto the tray without a specific orientation thereof.

    Abstract: This publication discloses a bottle tray (1) for single bottles and bottles bundled into a multipack package, such as a multipack package comprising bottles in at least two parallel rows and a carrier/sleeve enclosing the bottles, the top surface of the bottle tray (1) having thereon bottle pockets (2) in at least two parallel rows to accommodate bottles in a multipack and first support members (3) for supporting the multipack laterally from two opposite sides, and the bottom of the bottle tray (1) being provided with support surfaces (5, 6) for supporting the bottle tray (1) to bottles underlying the bottle tray (1). Second support members (4) are provided on the top surface of the bottle tray (1) for supporting bottles placed in the pockets (2), whereby the second support members (4) are adapted into the spaces between the parallel rows of pockets formed between the first support members (3) and have a height smaller than that of the first support members (3).
