  • Patent number: 6212726
Abstract: A computer mouse device cleaner uses a cleaning surface that has a diameter that is approximately the same as or larger than the diameter of a mouse ball. The cleaning surface is made of a hook material or an abrasive, absorbent material, and both materials can be used as two cleaning surfaces in a single device or kit. A curved ball cleaning surface made of an abrasive, absorbant material can also be included at an end of the handle of the cleaning device. In use, the cleaning surface is placed into the interior ball cavity of the mouse and rotated to cause the interior mouse rollers to roll. If a liquid cleaning solvent is applied to the hook material, it can be used to clean the mouse rollers and then removed by subsequent use of the abrasive, absorbent material.

  • Patent number: 5547399
Abstract: A universal AC adaptor has a transformer unit for converting standard AC line voltage to DC voltage and a plurality of plugs. Each plug has a flexible lead coupled to an output cord from the transformer unit at a coupler box. The leads allow the plugs to move independently of one another. Each plug also has a socket having a particular configuration which is different from the sockets of all the other plugs. Each socket is configured to mate with a particular receiving socket of a DC or an AC electrical appliance. The AC adaptor has enough plugs so as to be useable with most of the models of electrical appliance of a particular consumer electronic market, for example, video game units.

  • Patent number: 4951425
Abstract: A cleaning cartridge is provided for cleaning cartridge receptacle connector blocks located in computers and video games. The cleaning cartridge comprises a planar board having a configuration similar to that of a printed circuit board. The board contains a burnishing layer on at least one planar surface and is secured in a support housing configured to the shape of a program or game cartridge shell. When the housing is inserted into a cartridge slot, the burnishing layer on the board engages and cleans the electrical contacts of the connector block located within the slot. Cleaning is carried out by a simple insertion and removal operation permitting it to be accomplished by the average personal computer and video game user.
