Publication number: 20230375037Abstract: A rolling bearing device for a mobility apparatus includes a first support, a second support, the first support and the second support being able to rotate with respect to one another. A first race that is able to be mounted fixedly in terms of rotation on the first support, and a second race is able to be mounted fixedly in terms of rotation on the second support. A damping device includes at least one elastic element disposed between the first support on one side and the first and the second race on the other side. The damping device also has a vibration dissipating member which is disposed between the first support and the elastic element, the vibration dissipating member being configured to dissipate the vibrations through shear.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2023Publication date: November 23, 2023Applicant: VALEO EMBRAYAGESInventors: Eric RUMEAU, Herve MAHE, Roelof VERHOOG

Patent number: 10408299Abstract: A vibration damping system for a transmission system, exhibiting a stiffness K, of a motor vehicle having a combustion engine, having a support member able to be rotationally driven around an axis X, having a moment of inertia I; and a pendulum flyweight mounted movably on the support member, the pendulum flyweight being tuned to a tuning order n, the pendulum flyweight having a first resonance order of an order lower than the tuning order n, and a second resonance order higher than the tuning order n; the moment of inertia I of the support being configured for any engine speed value within an engine speed range of the combustion engine from 600 to 5000/n revolutions per minute, and for a given stiffness K of the transmission system, the second resonance order of the pendulum flyweight is different from an order y*n, where y is an integer.Type: GrantFiled: April 21, 2015Date of Patent: September 10, 2019Assignee: Valeo EmbrayagesInventors: Hervé Mahe, Roel Verhoog

Patent number: 9909643Abstract: A torque transmission device for a motor vehicle, having a torque input element, a torque output element, and at least one pair of elastic members mounted between the torque input and output elements and counteracting rotation of input and output elements with respect to one another. The elastic members are arranged serially by means of a phasing member so that the elastic members deform in phase with one another. The stiffness K1 of the elastic member mounted between the torque input element and the phasing member is less than the stiffness K2 of the elastic member mounted between the phasing member and the torque output element, the ratio K2/K1 being equal to at least 2. One elastic member of the at least one pair of elastic members includes two coaxial helical springs mounted one inside the other.Type: GrantFiled: August 25, 2015Date of Patent: March 6, 2018Assignee: Valeo EmbrayagesInventor: Herve Mahe

Patent number: 9683627Abstract: A filtering mechanism for torque fluctuations is interposed between a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and a transmission. This mechanism comprises a rotating member to be damped, an oscillating inertial flywheel rotating around the axis of revolution, and pivot-mounted modules allowing angular deflection of the oscillating inertial flywheel with respect to the member to be damped. The modules each have at least one oscillating arm pivoting radially with respect to the member to be damped and a kinematic connecting member between the oscillating arm and the oscillating inertial flywheel. When the mechanism rotates centrifugal forces on the oscillating arm produce a counteracting torque that tends to return the oscillating inertial flywheel and the member to be damped toward the equilibrium position. The counteracting torque increases with the rotation speed of the filtering mechanism and with the amplitude of the angular deflection.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2014Date of Patent: June 20, 2017Assignee: Valeo EmbrayagesInventors: Jerome Boulet, Benoit Fleche, Daniel Fenioux, Franck Cailleret, Carsten Lauridsen, Roel Verhoog, Olivier Marechal, Herve Mahe
