  • Publication number: 20220194243
Abstract: A system for conductively charging a motor vehicle includes a charging device and a receiving device. The charging device has an electrical contacting unit and a lifting device operable, for axially moving the contacting unit between retracted and extended positions. The receiving device has a receiving chamber for receiving the contacting element inserted therein when the contacting element is moved to an extended position. The contacting unit has a cylindrical or truncated cone body and includes an electrical contact ring extending around a lateral surface of the body of the contacting element. The receiving device includes a radially position-able electrical contact element along the receiving chamber. When the contact element is in one radial position while the contacting unit is inserted into the receiving chamber the contact element electrically contacts the contact ring and mechanically fixes the contacting unit to the receiving device inside the receiving chamber.

  • Patent number: 9819171
Abstract: An electric device includes a housing and a cable. The housing has a pipe bracket disposed on the housing. The pipe bracket includes an interior pathway extending from a free-end of the pipe bracket into the housing. The free-end of the pipe bracket has teeth thereon. The cable has a union nut and a sleeve. The sleeve has a crimped section attached to the cable such that the crimped section is non-displaceable. The sleeve further has a toothed annular surface. In an installed state of the cable to the housing, a feedthrough portion of the cable extends through the interior pathway of the pipe bracket and into the housing. The union nut encompasses the sleeve and is attached to the pipe bracket to thereby press the toothed annular surface of the sleeve against the teeth of the pipe bracket such that the cable is fixed rotationally to the housing.

  • Patent number: 7648403
Abstract: A printed circuit board (PCB) assembly includes a PCB and a screwless terminal connection having a conductor rail and a clamping spring. The PCB has a recess on an edge. The conductor rail has a base part soldered to the PCB and bridging the PCB recess. The base part includes an end extending past the PCB edge. The clamping spring includes three spring legs. The first leg contacts the base part and is between the base part and the PCB recess. The first leg includes an end extending past the PCB edge and contacting the end of the base part. The second leg extends from the first leg through the PCB recess and is beneath the PCB. The third leg includes a clamping aperture and extends upward from the second leg above the PCB. The ends of the base part and the first leg extend through the clamping aperture.

  • Patent number: 7002813
Abstract: An arrangement which has a panel-like electrical/electronic module, such as a solar power module, and a connection unit which are electrically connected to one another. The module and the connection unit each have an essentially flat printed conductor structure with connecting sections. The printed conductor structures are situated in parallel planes. The connecting sections are rigid electrical conductor sections and are bent out from the planes of the printed conductor structures of the connection unit and the module. The connecting sections of the connection unit are situated corresponding to the arrangement of the connecting sections of the module so that for the connection unit connected to the module each connecting section of the module is electrically connected to a respective connecting section of the connection unit and these adjoin one another in one section situated in a different spatial position than that of the planes of the printed conductor structures.
