Abstract: Provided is a gaming machine having a cabinet. Between the back as a back face and the right side face of the sides of the cabinet, the gaming machine has a right end side, which is formed by cutting a plane parallel to the gravitational direction in a manner to join lines spaced at predetermined distances in the individual directions of the back and the right side face from a line of intersection, on which the back and the right side face intersect when extended. The gaming machine also has a left end side between the back and a left side face. Moreover, the right end side and the left end side are symmetric with respect to a plane dividing the cabinet equally to the right and left.

  • Publication number: 20090005153
Abstract: A gaming machine is provided, which includes an interface portion, a controller, a memory, a first power supply, and a second power supply. The interface portion is connected with at least one unit used for executing a game. The controller controls the unit connected to the interface portion and detects an occurrence of abnormal operation at the unit. The memory stores identification information for identifying the unit, and further stores historical information that includes information related to the occurrence of abnormal operation detected by the controller in connection with the identification information. The first power supply supplies a voltage required for operation of the controller. The second power supply supplies the voltage required for operation of the controller if a voltage supplied for the controller by the first power supply is less than the voltage required for operation of the controller.

  • Publication number: 20090005178
Abstract: A gaming machine includes a first box having inner walls, a second box, a front member, a communicating portion, and an exhausting portion. The front member has side walls, and covers components placed at a front portion of the second box. The front member defines a first space at the front portion. The communicating portion provided at the front portion allows a second space inside the second box to communicate with the first space. The exhausting portion provided in a side wall of the front member allows air sent from the second space to the first space to be discharged. The front member is arranged such that a first distance is smaller than a second distance, where the first distance starts at a first inner wall to finish at a first side wall, and the second distance starts at a second inner wall to finish at a second side wall.

  • Patent number: 7366922
Abstract: When an alternating-current power is supplied to an ATX power supply, sub power is supplied to a PC board from the ATX power supply. When the sub power is supplied to the PC board, a PWOK signal is output to the ATX power supply by processing performed by a CPU according to BIOS, and main power is supplied to the PC board from the ATX power supply. Accordingly, the supply of the main power to the PC board and the starting processing of a gaming processing program are performed automatically, without any need for the conventional manual operation of a power supply switch, so that no effort is required for the starting of a slot machine.
